I loved it last summer I really hope it isn't a cluster fuck of guitars. Rarely does 3 guitars work for me.

I am a HUGE Warren fan though so I'm pumped to see what is up.

And KC I want to do Alpine and Deer Creek also, who are you travelling with?

Yes I hope the three guitars isn't a cluster fuck as you put it.

Count me in for Alpine and Deer Creek. I reckon there'll be a lot of people out at the abode for the Alpine show, probably not as many as Phish last year though. As for Deer Creek, I have one friend from college that you never met that I will almost for sure be travelling with. He's cool, loves the Dead. He was kinda having problems with depression last summer so that's why you didn't see him around. He's a lot better now and ready to see a show or two. There's room for you to travel with us. We can look into camping sites nearby for that night. There are tons of 'em.

Whoa!  :whoa: I was probably camping on the same lake... I stayed at a house of a friend of a friend of a friend's.... with my friend's roomate and a bunch of his friends from his touring days (I was 18, but he was 27 or something, and had a bunch of connections from his days on tour)... so, perhaps you were camping with a guy named "Crusty McMumbles" and we were camping together (obviously not his real name  but that's what we all call him, cause he is a bit crusty and has a tendancy to mumble)

Any guesses on the odds of getting mail order tix for the Sat & Sun shows at Red Rocks? I sent my stuff in on thursday... how long does that normally take?... first time I've ever mail-ordered. I would think that the red rocks shows would be super popular. i've heard many wonderful stories about that venue.

Are there usually extras available at the lots for most of their shows? I was thinking of just driving down to St Louis and then up to Alpine and hoping that I'd be able to score a pair of lawn tix for my girlfriend and I instead of getting raped by ticketbastard. I've only seen the dead twice.... at Bonnaroo last year, and then with Bob Dylan in Somerset Wisconsin later that summer. But have been a fan since the mid-90s.

I'll be at Bonnaroo. It will be the first time I've ever seen The Dead. This thread got me all excited about it again!
