SHITTTTTTT!!! Why can't they come to Europe!!! I don't have enough money to go back home to the States anymore... gotta pay for my new place in Kobenhavn and shit!!!! 5 days at Red Rocks! DTE Energy whatever they call it that is like 1.5 hours out of where my parents live!!! DAMN! Please tape these shows guys... I'm a deadhead stuck in europe. And if you get the chance to talk to any of the Dead tell them to come to Europe!

But how close are all three of those states to Illinois!!! Think about it from the Dead's perspective, where can you play in Illinois? At this race-track in Evanston? But that place sucks... I saw Dead and Dylan there last summer and it was just not a happening place. So grab your keys (or convince your friend) and drive up north, then south, then east... and thank whatever you believe in that you didn't move to norway!

they played at route 66 speedway last year.. it was fine, they had huge fields all around were everyone parked and chilled out. and there was more than enough seating. i just dont like travelling across states with lots of drugs on me

Yeah I understand that... We just baked some brownies and brought a LOT of Bell's beer with us, and traded for whatever else we needed (this was on the way to Phish at Alpine last summer)... of course it helped that my friend's roomate I was travelling with was good friends with all the WaterWheel guys... but perhaps I saw you at Route 66 last summer... and you must admit that compared to other venues it's just not as nice. Oh well... be happy that you get to see the Dead this summer, even if you have to drive across the state borders!
