good ones are rare, so very true.
but i think in the end it still boils down to men sort of having to try harder at the relationship? maybe i'm phrasing it inaccurately. think about what the womans roll is, biologically. think about how they're different physiologically. and think how they may have played a part back in the tribes humanity first started in. things haven't changed on deeper mental level for us, though we can pretend they have.
thats not to say women have it easier, or men have it harder. i think the tasks each partner has to fulfill are just about 50/50, but distributed differently. maybe thats why it seems women are walking all over you. maybe, just maybe, you've let modern mainstream media and advertising get to your ego a little bit? just mabye, just something to ponder.
personally, i would do just about anything for my lady... within reason of course. there is a difference between being a good man and being a bitch that she walks all over. it's probably up to you to decide. but again, the key here is reason. if you aren't willing to make sacrificed, no one will ever make sacrifices for you.
