Talking to mormons

I'm an atheist, and was just visited by two mormons. After talking for a few minutes, they gave me a Book of Mormon (I wanted one to add to my library anyway), and they're supposed to come back after I've had time to read some of it.
Now there is no way to have a logical discussion with these people, as most of you probably know. I asked them if they believed in unicorns, and they said unicorns could exsist. They said I can experiment with different ways to find god, so I asked them what they thought about finding go through drugs. They wouldnt really even answer. They said the reason why I've never experienced god is becuase I don't have faith.
When they come back, I really don't know of much to say other than just telling them to fuck off, because I'm not going to waste an afternoon listening to their nonsense.

What does the pub think I should say to them? Could be a real argument, could be pure amusement, could be something that will make them run away screaming. I'm somebody here has some past experience here.

it's good to be open to new perspectives. especially if it is contradictory to your already-set beliefs. and you can always just toss it afterwards :shrug:

it's not that i'm against slamming doors in peoples faces, but it's fun to know how other people perceive this thang we call reality.

and don't think that you know what's really goin' on here because no one does. but i think it's fun to look at thangs through other people's eyes. it's really mind expanding and can even generate some cool ideas. even if you hold no conviction or belief in it at all, it never hurts to have some kooky ideas at your disposal

you don't have to believe anything, you can just play your part as an observer and use the information you receive to try to make sense of this whole thang in your own way

On a second thought, you should take some mushrooms before you answer the door next time. Have a long, philosophical talk with them. Try to amaze them with your understanding of the world or completely follow along with them to make them think they changed a person's view on life. But before they leave inform them that you have been on mushrooms the entire time.

I like talking to people with different views from mine, but these people just can't make any sense. If I ask them questions they will barely attempt to answer the question, and just tell me what they want to tell me. Basicly their whole argument for how they know mormonism is right is that it gives them good feelings that they know are from god. So yeah...I don't really care to wast more time talking to them.

It sounds like you're starting to break out in missionaries. Keep the shades drawn and ignore them when they come back. If you don't, they'll attract Jehovah's Witnesses, and then you'd have to get an exorcist!

Play dumb, like you don't remember them coming by. After lots of confusion, propose the idea that maybe it was your twin brother. Ask them to stay there for a minute.

Come back to the door butt naked except for latex gloves and a dust mask. Invite them in and enthusiastically tell them about this great Cybil Shepperd documentary that's on in your bedroom.

If they come in.... rape them.

If not, would they try to convert them?

But what if the aliens had a religion already?

Would the mormons be so convinced that they would be converted to galaxism?

They were told its the religion of millions of planets, and learned that later day saints is satans religion.

I was looking up mormonism because I don't know much about it, but according to this site http://carm.org/thinking-of-joining-mormonism they would have to believe in aliens since they think that "God used to be a man on another planet".  It is a biased source but it does cite sources from mormon books...I didn't bother trying to look them up but it seems like a pretty weird religion altogether.
