Ken Jennings was my hero until he took that dive in the tournament of champions.

Yeah, he could have kicked ass. I guess he thought 2.5 million was enough. He got an extra 250k from getting second though.

He let the other guy win. He barely answered any of the questions.

I saw it, and I don't think he meant to lose anymore than any contestant means to lose. He just got owned.

I dated a Mormon girl once. Now here it is a year later, and she's pregnant but not even engaged, selling drugs, and doesn't speak to her family anymore.

i've had long talks w/ the mormons who've come to my door before. They're loony as hell, to be honest, but i'm always down for interesting conversation. some of the beliefs are pretty far out there, and I have to talk to one or two once in awhile to reassure myself people like that are really out there...

I live in Utah, there is like no crime here. Mormons aren't bad people, most of them are just normal christian types, some of the other ones end up going on "missions" such as those missionaries that visited you. They are usualy pressured by their parents who have an unspoken but strong rule of, "You have to go on a mission for 2 years or you are out of the family" kinda thing.
The normal ones are fine the freaks are freaky.

where do you live, in some little town up really far north in Utah? there is crime here, but it is not as bad as a lot of places in the country.. There are all kinds of things going on with crime in the Salt Lake area...but it is nothing compared to L.A. or something... I live in Utah also, but life here gets old and a nice change of scenery would be nice...I have lived here all my life, that is why it is boring.. The mountains are nice though, camping areas.. but mountains are nice anywhere really..
