Extremely fat people should not be normalized. * 7
    #12923889 -

I'm talking about people like this that you see everywhere now.

I have weight issues myself but I'm not fat. I weight 30 pounds more than my doctor says I should. I exercise every single day and not much of the extra weight on me is fat at all. I can bench 310 and I can run 3 miles with no real issue. If I didn't work out I would be fat. I acknowledge this and do something about it. People who have no regard for their health and get 300+ need to realize how fucking nasty and pathetic they are. Diet soda and weight watchers pudding isn't going to help you.

I don't mean people who could stand to lose 30 or even 50 pounds. I'm talking these behemoths that are so fat they can barely function like the rest of us. I think we should go around tranquilizing them and chaining them to treadmills. Give them nothing to eat but a tiny bit of healthy food to live on. Give them WATER and nothing else to drink. **Jokes people**

I refuse to get use to the idea that people are this fat and it's ok. I will not make it a normal thing to just pass by.

I think there is. I think I am 1000 times better than these people.

I am super nice to damn near everyone and will help anyone out if they need help, but I can not sit here and not say something about the horrible way people think that it's ok to be that big. If you weight 400 pounds skip the fast food and go eat a salad after hitting up the treadmill. If you care that little about yourself then that's how I feel as well.

These HUGE people are setting a horrible example. I have seen more HUGE fat people on TV these days and it's almost becoming normal. Don't let this shit become normal.

There was this really fat girl in my high school that whenever I saw her I would get the urge to punch her in the face. She would always wear extra small clothing to show off her rolls and celluloit... These people should be taken out back and slaughtered like the cows they emulate!

Everyone judges everyone. I know you do to an extent. I just happen to dislike fat people.

I'm not the one that can't walk up a flight of stairs.

I don't have to eat at buffets to get the 20k calories it takes to fill me up.

Work at a place with a all you can eat menu and just see how long it takes you to feel sickened by these HUGE people.

When we run out of oil we should start looking to these fat people for fuel. God knows they have enough energy stored up.

The mentality that allows these people to sit around and do nothing about their disgusting fat is a lot worse than my mentality of disliking their lazy asses.

I don't hate specific people for no reason at all. I dislike fat people for not giving a shit about themselves. If they don't care about themselves then why should I? Not only do they look disgusting, they are pretty useless human beings.

Why would I not say something? I don't think anyone should be ok with being that fat.

You seriously think that this is ok? This makes the whole country look pathetic and weak.

What about this should I respect?

why? like, what for?

heavy weight lifting is bad for your heart and it might as well be the reason why you are 30lbs over weight. (muslce weighs more per cubic inch than fat does)

I had a kinesiology teacher who was at the very least 100lbs over weight (thyroid problem). But she would give aerobics classes back to back from 8am to about 2pm without getting tired.

She won a 17mile bike race against ALL the kinesiology department (everyone from 90lbs, 20 year old students to mid 40's life-long body trainners)

I agree being morbidly obese should NOT be thoght of as "normal" it ISNT normal and should not be encouraged in any way.

But not all people are fat cause they want to be, or because they dont care about themselves, but simply cause they cannot get/are not slim.(like the teacher I am talking about)

I find its uncomfortable to be around those really fat people who you can tell are fat for their own fault. Like this guy I know who is also easily 100lbs overweight, he complaints when the director asks us to STAND UP. That's insane, i hate hearing him complain about havng to stand up, and at moments like that I do indeed find him very annoying. But I have nothing against him as a person and I dont think anyone should be hated or treated differently cause of the way they look JUST because they look that way.

I don't weight lift that much all the time. I might go out to the garage 1-2 times a day and bench like 10 or 20 reps at about 175 pounds. That's not a lot.

The guy in the pic isn't even as big as I really meant. Add another 50 pounds on him and that's more what I mean.

I try to bike and run more than anything. Your right lifting doesn't make you lose all that much weight. I just lift enough to stay fit I think.

When I wrote this I was being really insensitive. I'm not saying I change my mind about what I'm saying, I just took out unnecessary put downs on the fat people of America. I was watching a show about the heath of america and it inspired me to write this.  :shake:

Lifting actually does help loose fat a lot. IMO better than running and other stuff, although you should balance both. And its not bad for your heart if you do it correctly.

It really is hard to lose weight I will admit. I just don't understand the mentality of not caring in the first place and then continuing on not caring until you kill yourself.

Lifting helps you lose fat cause muscle needs more calories to sustain itself than regular flacid tissue does. But eventually it WILL make you gain weight, once more, because muscle weighs more per square inch than fat does.

And it doesnt matter how you do it, lifting heavy weights DOES hurt your heart.
I used to be a kinesiology major in the local university and I learned all the dirty secrets professionals (in the kinesiology and medical fields) dont want the public to know.

Weight lifting champions and professional body builders (i know several) need to constantly have their heart checked up.

What happens is your heart (as in the muscle) gets stronger, bulkier and harder as any other muscle in your body and there for your ventricles get smaller, this makes your heart HAVE to pump faster (more times per minute) to get the amount of blood your body needs out into your veins. Since it has to pump more times it “wears out” faster.

By “running and other stuff” I take it you mean aerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise is actually better for your overall well being than anaerobic exercise (like weight lifting) because it makes your heart more flexible which enables it to expand much more and get a lot more blood into each ventricle. This makes it so that your heart doesn’t have to pump that many times per second to get the same amount of blood out into your body, which of course means a lot less “wear and tear”
