Intention, in this case, is irrelevant.  If a movie is racist, then a movie is racist, regardless of the intent of the creator.  There are plenty of examples.  However, going back to my original premise, the portrayal of a stereotype does not automatically denote racism.

then what is the difference between racist and stereotype. declaring superiority of one group and the inferiority of another? by portraying a group as ruthless savage isn't it racist instead of a stereotype?
