easy way to get jars when out of season.

today i was looking aorund my house, and i found one of those candles in a glass jar. and the jar just so happened to be a Ball widemouth half pint canning jar. so i got a knife and got all the candle out and i am steralizing it right as i am typing this. so if anyone cant find canning jars, just go to the dollar store, or anyplace with those candles in a glass jar, and buy them. and if they dont come with one of those lids then jsut use tinfoil.  :grin:

actualy PG untill i moved last there wasn't a place in the whole town i was in that carried them. they're not always that easy to find.
it does get old hearing the same questions over and over, but this was a [guy/girl] who found a solution that worked well enough for [him/her] and though it'd be nice to share. it may have already been coverd but it's not worth getting that upset over. it's not healthy.

it should have been "guy" and "him" lol but i never said that it wouldnt be cheap, plus its just an easy way tog et a jar if you get one of these candles as a gift or whatever. and in my town its nearly impossible to find them even when they are in season.

i didnt ask a question did i? nope didnt think so, i was simply pointing out that there IS a way to get jars without online ordering, so if you have a problem with me trying to help people who cant get jars, then you should just ignore the post  :cool:

its not like im going out and buying them 10 at a time or something. i just meant this as an easy way for maybe a first timer to get 2 or 3 jars if they cant find them anywhere else.
