Where in the hell can i get 1/2 pint wide mouthed mason jars??!!!? NO where around where i live has n e. Maybe i'll just drink my syringe and harvest my shit! Maybe not but please someone help and tell me where they got their jars.

hrrrmph, I don't mean to break any rules about vendors, but... maybe this can help...
as ball.com (ball inc) has sold off their canning jars division, you can find the real ball canning jars at homecanning.com where you can order online. hopefully that will help.

look around harder.. most supermarkets stock them..
or order online, as was mentioned..

I went to wal mart and got discouraged because of how huge it is(we have a super sized wal-mart) i'm pretty sure they have them but the sales people only know what is sold in their little section. do you have n e ideas what dept they might be in?

in cali, they have really old 1 pint mason jars somewhere in safeway cuz no one ever buys em except shroom growers :-)

as for getting them at wal-mart... they'll be in the small kitchen appliances area (or vicinity). if they're not there -- ask the customer service desk -- they have to know all the departments.
this is a good time of year to find ball jars in general, seeing that usually canning is a seasonal thing (at least a summer/fall thing in new england). I always have an ass-load of trouble finding them in the dead of winter at grocery stores. But... Not at wal-mart, they always have 'em.

My walmart can suck a big cock. I looked in the specified areas for 30+ min after talking to customer service! No one that worked there knew why they didn't have any. I went to target also and still no luck. I'll try the salv army later today. Never knew this could be so hard! Oh well patience, patience, patience! That is the key to success w/o stress in the mycology world!

Ahh I hope you find some. Hell, I just settled for some 1 pint jars instead of trying to get the 1/2 pints..which was a mistake I think haha

Canning is, or used to be, a season event. So canning jars are stocked seasonally at many stores as they don't know that shrooming is a year-round business. If you can be patient, stores should start carrying jars in the fall.
Also, try small hardware shops. If they don't have them, they will be able to tell you exactly where to get them. Forget about Walmart and supermarkets, they're not really there to meet your needs.

That's what i have realized. They don't give a shit about the one thing that keeps them alive . . . the customers! So fuck them and fuck target also (it is a smaller target compared to the one i went to one time) I'll check at home depot and lowes or something. We should open a chain of stores selling shroom cultivation supplies all year round. Hell yeah . . . Who's with me? Sorry that's way off topic. But if i can't get any 1/2 pint wide mouths would n e one want to sell me some of theirs?
