Pereskiopsis confusion

Hey guys

I ordered some Pereskiopsis spathulata the other day and I recieved what I believe to be two different species of Pereskiopsis:

Close-up on the more "regular", real spathulata I guess:

Close-up on the other one:

As you can see that second one has bigger leaves and a lot more white "wool"...

I guess they are both good to use for grafting, but I'd like to know what exact species that second one (or both) are.

Normal pereskiopsis can grow tons of that 'wool' as well.

The leaves on that second one do look drastically different, though. Not sure what it is.

First one is a P. spathulata and the second one is Pereskiopsis deguetii, the wooly pereskiopsis.

I believe that is referred to as "Cephalium".

P. deguetii seems to be correct, although I didn't find many pics of it online.

i would call that company ASAP and get my money back.
and not order from them again do to them not being honest.

From my personal experience, P. deguetii works just as good for grafting, and is propagated just as easy.

As I may use both in the same way, I don't really care, especially because I received 5 of each kind (which is plenty for a start).
It just kinda sucks because they could have simply mentioned it on their page...

Most vendors I've noticed don't know the difference. Ignorance is bliss in the cactus world.
