First off, I would like to say that the OP is a bigot who needs to chill the fuck out.
Secondly, I agree with Allan; borders don't make sense.
Laws should be based on morals and ethics - not territorialism and pride.
What I really want to know is - why do you hate real people - human beings, for taking lower-paying jobs than yours that no one wants?
Personally I don't have a problem with immigration - but restrictions should change.
Its easier to immigrate illegally than legally... what great incentive for aliens to do everything by the books.

No, its not their land.  They stole it from the spanish, who stole it from older nations who stole it from older people still.  Why would you assume that in that long line of ownership somehow mexico is the true owner?  Mexico only held the land for 20 years.  America, Spain and the early nations all held it for longer than that.  Mexico has the weakest claim of any over the land.  Why dont you go read a history book instead of spouting BS.

My understanding here is that we're talking about Mexicans as the original inhabitants of the land, who most definitely did not steal anything from the Spanish. Vice versa, actually. So why don't you 'go read a history book instead of spouting (hate-mongering) BS.

I really don't understand people so opposed to immigration. The legal immigration laws in this country and the waiting times are insane. If I desperately needed a job I would sure as hell jump the border too. They come in, and work all our shitty jobs for us, what's the big deal? And so what if they're breaking the law? It's a bullshit law, just like our drug laws are.

It's funny, back in the day it was the Irish, then the Italians that were getting all the hate. I just find it ironic that many of those railing against immigration are descendants of immigrants themselves. America's a melting pot. Not to mention the fact, like someone mentioned above, that this is all Mexican land being "invaded" by immigrants. We stole it from them flat out. No justification no nothin. It was imperialism pure and simple. The least we can do is let them come work at McDonalds for us :p. Not to mention the fact that this entire country was stolen from the "Native Americans" (fuck I hate that term it sounds so retarded but I guess it's the best). The hypocrisy of being anti-immigration is immense.

I'm surprised people on a shroomery forum would have views like this... It's just a lucky roll of the dice that you were born here and automatically got citizenship. Put yourself in someone else's shoes. Would you be a staunch proponent of closing the border if you were born to a poor Mexican family?
