I'd like to make Shroomery Logo pendants - Who do I ask? Can we make a deal?

Hey there!
I get asked quite a lot to make people custom "Shroomery" pendants with one image or another (sporeprints, usernames, psilocybin molecules, etc...). Up until now I have always had to decline those requests.

But I was thinking that maybe I can make some kind of mutually beneficial deal with the Shroomery.

Maybe I could trade X number of Shroomery pendants per month (obviously without usernames) for maybe a free classified ad or something to that effect.

As for the custom ones with usernames, I haven't figured out an idea for that, but pendants with the Shroomery logo + Spore Print or Shroomery Logo + Psilocybin molecule (Or all three together) seem like an item that would probably sell well in the Shroomery store...

Anyway, I didn't know where to direct this random thought, but I love this community and I dislike having to say no to so many good people!

Up for suggestions, comments, thoughts...

As the administrator of this forum I give you permission to use the shroomery logo, that was given to me by my father, and by his father before him, and if he knew this time-honoured family heirloom was being used as a logo on a pro-psychedelia website he'd be rolling in his grave.

Those are pretty cool pendants. :smile: If you'd be doing a very low volume of business with Shroomery branded merch (ie. <$100 net/year) then I'd say just have at it, you may use our name and logo as long as you make it clear that your products are unofficial and not endorsed by the site or its staff. Let me know if you need any graphics in vector format.

If you're looking at doing a larger volume of business I'll have to discuss it with the other admins. We can probably work something out, although our focus is elsewhere at the moment so it might take a little while to get moving.

Thanks so much - I'll make some really great ones to represent the Shroomery! What I'll do is go ahead and tell the 5 or so people who have asked that we're all good, and then we'll go from there.

I'm thinking that once people realize that I can make these (been saying no for a long time) that they may take off :smile: If/when that happens I'll pop back in here and we'll begin figuring out something...

This place rocks I love it so much. And now that I can see the selfless kindness from those at the top - well makes me proud to be a member here.

dw, as one of the guys to buy your stuff and the first one to suggest that you make pendants with a spore print, I demand to have a ten cents off coupon on my next order.

Yes the spore print was absolute genius! I saw that when you said it and I made a few. At first not much interest, but now, it has become very popular - I personally love the spore print ones :smile:

I have to say it was amazing to have Smack31 chime in  - Many thanks! He created the Shroomery image on my pendant in my sig -

Yeah man, you have your $0.10 of coupon no worries! And also a free spore print pendant - gotta spread the love - thanks for the inspiration.

And yeah that was super funny, and I think of that from time to time with the paypal :smile:

Well as some of you may know, my home and workshop were destroyed by fire a few months back. I had just finished my first few Shroomery pendants, but unfortunately they were sacrificed to the fire along with most everything I own :frown:

Now a few months later I've just completed my first batch of new pendants and I made 3 Shroomery pendants. It feels really good to get back to making art after such a traumatic experience, also I needed to money since I now have over 10K in hospital bills :shrug:

I wanted to thank everyone again for giving me permission to make these, as this community has been like my home for much longer than my registration date :smile:

So check 'em out :smile:





Then these were made using a Shroomery member's own pics of their harvest, and another Shroomerite helped me to photoshop the image so it had no background...





Again I express my humble thanks!

Thanks!! I used to have a tripod which would take super-clear images, but now I'm lucky enough to borrow a nice digital camera to take the pics, but hands are just not as steady as the tripod. They're awesome, my pics came out blurry on the mushroom one, they look cooler in person for sure...
