I miss reading. I cant read with another around. Being in a relationship, work, and life leaves me no time. I havent read a book in 3 yrs now. I miss reading sometimes.

Nothing like some dank and a good book!

Have you read the Coldfire Trilogy yet, by C.S. Friedman?  I enjoyed, immensely. 

Stranger in a Strange Land is classically impeccable. 

And if you want a challenge... read the Gormenghast novels, by Mervyn Peake.

Read it, I love King's writing style but the ending to that book sucked IMO.

How are you guys with reading while high? I can't for the life of me remember what I just read, but it makes it a lot more intense along and the visual imagery is enhanced

I think the best part about reading is when you can get into a trance like state with a visual scene running through your head. That's how you know it's a good book, when you can totally detach from reality.

I just finished "Deadeye Dick" by Vonnegut and am reading through some Sci-Fi now. Getting lost in a book is always a trip. I wish I could read all day :thumbup:

I can't believe I've never read Stranger in a Strange Land.. It's been on my "must-read" list for years, just never got around to it.

You're moving to Asheville? It's a great place, I have some friends there... I'll have to look you up next time I come visit.

You still plan on making it to the Shroomery gathering or summer tours?
