that's inaccurate, because of the rise in rate in the bahamas and the
drop in haiti they have surpassed them recently, if you scroll tot he
bottom of the page you'll see that the actual rate is about 3%, same as
what wikipedia lists them at but the bahamas also has only 6000 people
with HIV while haiti has more than 120,000

when you get into africa that's where you see the greatest increases
because of the ignorance and superstition, believing that raping a
virgin will cure aids, swaziland for instance has the highest percentage
at 24% and south africa the larges population with more than 5mil

it annoys the fuck out of me that the USA is EXPECTED to help any country in need. when we have our own problems, we need to take better care of who is here.

it sickens me we will be expected to take millions of haiti refugees.

where is UN and the rest of the world?

we have a pretty much open door policy when it comes to refugees from
haiti, cuba and dominica, if they can get their feet on the beach we
keep them, if we find them in open water, we take them back to where ever

there were thousands of cubans coming in during the boat lifts that were
criminals, castro opened the doors to the prisons and told them we were
welcoming them all

Sure, there are many more people with HIV in Haiti than the Bahamas, I'm talking about percentage, 3% for Bahamas, 2.2% for Haiti. Also worth noting is the disclaimer of sorts at the bottom of the page:

"It should be noted that the above figures are estimates and are made with a large degree of uncertainty. For example, the number of people living with HIV in Haiti is estimated as being between 100,000 and 140,000, and the figure for Cuba lies in the range 3,600 to 12,000."

That's only true for Cuba: the Wet-Foot/Dry-Foot policy. Further, we have very few immigrants from Dominica.

Is it not the job as a world Super power to aid in those situations?

America polices the world and does a whole lot of negative in the world but sometimes a little good is done by America. Now whether this goodness is out of the goodness of heart and responsibility as a super power or for hidden agendas that I'm unaware of, that I do not know.

and 3% is considerably less than 27%, no clue where that figure came from
.8% isnt that great of a difference

then what's the reason for the dramatic increase in these populations,
sure the feds make a gesture of deporting a few but for the most part as
with our immigration policy as a whole, it's no questions asked of these
illegals, if they ask, it's profiling, that's illegal

Oh, I agree we have a ridiculous level of immigration. The thing is that you described a policy which is codified in law for Cuba ONLY. This does not apply to any other country in the western hemisphere. The influx from Mexico and other places is do to unrelated loopholes.

they've been treating all the caribbean imports the same regardless of the
official policy, those that get busted for petty crimes are the only one
being deported

That may well be, and I take issue with this too, but it's a bit off-topic. IMO this thread should be specific to Haiti, which is a subject I have some passion for and don't want it derailed. If you start an immigration thread I'd be up for it, though.
