Canadians like cannabis, and smoke a shit ton of it.

They also import good drugs into the area.

And you can drink at 19.

Not that I wish I was Canadian, but I'm a little envious.

Hey man you sound like your on the same page with me, I'd like to correct something though. Lincoln was when the USA died. The War of southern succession was a war of northern aggression to try to block succession, which was the first major slight against the constitution that was never rectified. (and you thought it was about slavery LOL)

If you need proof that the war wasn't about slavery, read the quotes etched in the damn walls of the Lincoln memorial.

I'd love to hear about anything you know about the "brotherhood" as you put it.

I would have to agree that overall Canadians do seem to be more rational then Americans, and drug crimes don't carry such harsh penalties, but I want guns damnit!

Canada will never be able to break away from Britain either, America just might be able to because of their history of rebellion.

As someone who has lived near the US/Canadian boarder before, I think I can provide some insight into this.

It all has to do with vending machines.

See, when you live near the US/Canada boarder, you end up getting quarters from both countries as change. Now, most people will honor a quarter, Canadian, or American as a quarter, regardless of the exchange rate.

However, vending machines do not like to accept foreign change, so on both sides of the boarder, you get hungry people, with a pocket full of foreign coins, standing, staring, ruefully at their useless money, only to glance occasionally at the last Twix in the vending machine that has escaped them just as their stomach growls.

These situations breed an animosity that is so infectious, is spreads to all corners of both nations.

Yea I like Charles' theory, that and the shitty American quarters rub off on the edge so you can see how inferior they are to ours.

I forgot to add, red green show is pretty bad, but Trailer Park Boys is fucking KICK ASS. All you Americans are missing out on this awesome show, we get all your good ones but you don't get the TPB, sucks to be you. :P

In Quebec (entire province) the drinking age is 18.

There's another province where it's 18 too but I forgot which one.

Ok, I used to watch the red green show, it isn't THAT bad. Canadian air farce and 22 minutes sucks ass though, and I won't budge on those two.

I thank all you Americans for Trey Parker and Matt Stone. They are some of the greatest artists the USA has ever produced. (no joke)
If you haven't seen it watch Cannibal the Musical, that's one of their early movies that lots of people haven't seen.
