moving to canada.

hello everyone. ive been a shroomery member for awhile just havent been active the past 6 months or so. Anyways I'm 18 years old and I plan to move with my two good friends to Vancouver within three months. I was wondering if you think it will be difficult to get immigration? I'm planning to go to a college after I get there and us three would definitley have enough money to get an apartment and have the funds to live for about three months. We really feel we would be able to get jobs after we get there and could make it on our own. Have any of you done this before? Could anyone give some good tips? I would love to become a Canadian citizen and would like to live a life there. We are very talented musicians, we make money playing shows and selling cd's. 18 year old trying to get immigration without a job, with a car, and with money is that likely?

It's not going to happen.

Cananda is encouraging immigration right now...but only by people who have four year college degrees, jobs lined up, and money in the bank. Young musicians with no money and no jobs will not get permanent residency, I guarantee you.

Well don't get THAT excited. You have at the very least a one year wait to get through immigration, and they do turn quite a few people down...even if they do let in a lot.
