After 41 days and a 24 hour dunk, the Raccoon skull has a pair of pins!



I was really starting to doubt I would see anything positive at all, let alone 12 hours after the soak.

The pin coming from the nose is straight from the substrate, but the one coming from the eye socket seems to be emerging from the mycelium spread through the small fishers and the surface.

Hopefully they don't abort and we get to see some cool looking shrooms! :grin:

This morning, growth is slow going, and there are still only two, but the pins seem to growing in to little mushrooms. Especially the eye pin. :grin:
