No skull pics yet.

It's hard to see it through the plastic lid with all the condensation.

Once I put it into fruiting conditions I'll get all 'camera happy' and I'll post some pics. :laugh:

It's been 23 days and the growth is very slow.



It's difficult to see in the photos but a hint of white began to cover the surface of the skull a few days ago, however, I'm starting to think the mycelium may have already consumed all the available moisture.

I'm contemplating whether or not to place it into fruiting conditions. I would rather have it covered in mycelium but at this point it may not be an option.

I guess I could just open the container and mist. :shrug:

Day 24 and I decided to put the skull into fruiting conditions.

I gave it a heavy misting, fanned, and placed it into the GH where it will be under 12 hours on/off of fluorescent light each day along with a cool mist running every second hour for one hour, around the clock.

You can see in the photos below where the mycelium colonized through the cracks in the skull.



Now with any luck, the mycelium will start to colonize the surface and fruit throughout.  :biggrin:

Its bogus +?  Im so disappointed.  I thought it was your trademarked TX.  Im not going to lie with the B+ it should look good B+ puts out some big fruits IME

Wow, that's some pretty aggressive looking myc.  Can't wait to see if it fruits.  If this is a success, you should move up to a larger skull, like human or something similarly large. :evil:

I thought about going with Tex but I didn't want to waste a good strain so thats where the B+ came in. :wink:
