no veil on 3rd flush?

so afoaf doing the solo cup tek, and its on the thirds flush, and afoaf only got 1 pin, and that 1 pin, started to grow bigger, and he noticed the cap was way huger then normal caps are at this stage of growth (compared to the previous 2 flushes)

after a awhile, he noticed that the cap has started to open up, yet there was no vail left behind, or really any trace of it.

furthermoore the shroom, looks way to short to be already opening up, also i noticed the gill colors, are lighter then normal.

afoaf has some pictures, but his buddy, has borrowed the cable to upload the pictures.


just wondering if anybody has seen this before.

This sometimes happens when the mushroom doesn't produce spores. This is very common on the last or final flushes. I wouldn't worry about it, sounds like a potent mushroom. I'm waiting for some primordia's to finish right now, and I can't wait to eat them.
