RP, have you checked your house humidity, it is winter time, furnaces drain the humidity from the air.  you prolly didn't notice it in the past because younger cats are more vibrant and have alot more kitty juice in them, as they get older they start to loose that mojo easier.  low humidity can also make a cat depressed as its harder to breath as the avilia or w/e they are called in our lungs get dryed out and can't transfer O2 as well...our lungs require a liquid surface to transfer and extract O2 from the air

a good and quick test is to walk up to your cat and put your hands around his face and then slowly blow like your giving him a shotgun of smoke.  he should instintly become more perky and prolly run away from you, this test works ever time

He's the second youngest cat in the house

we have a 4 month old, a 7 year old, a 17 year old, and then 'Norman' the cat in question, 2 years old

why would he be the only one to feel the effects of winter?

why don't you just throw on a fogger/coolmist and find out, im sure everyone in your household will be better for it.  not only do you breath better but it will also lower any dandruff and dust in the air.

and whenever you can buy your cats real food, even if its only a treat once a week or so.  that dry crunchy shit has so much bullshit in it, and lots of cats have been dieing because china started dumping depleted uranium or w/e in it last year, but the crunchy stuff will always be full of crap...its made to be cheap.

like I said already, we don't feed them cheap grocery store shit... this is food we pick up right at the veterinarian clinic


as for the humidifier, I was gonna pick one up anyway, I'm sure the fungi and the cats will appreciate it :wink:
