My mom still treats me like a child but I've come to accept it. She has nicknames for my sister and I that are only fit for toddlers and pets.

I used to give her shit about it when I was growing up, till I eventually realized she doesn't give a fuck what I have to say, and she just does her thang. She's in her own little world when it comes to this parent > child ideology. She doesn't tuck me in or anything but she likes to act like a little kid sometimes. It's actually kind of cute.

In the end, she's been through so much in her life that I just let her be how she wants to be, she's earned it if you ask me. But don't ask me.
