Dehydrator

So when ever i go out grocery shopping i tend to get really high and spend way to much money, this particular day i got a little to high and saw this for sale

it was only 40 bucks so i figured eh why not, i threw a few shrooms in there at 5 pm today, and will see how well it works if at all, just curious if anyone has used this particular model, its a cheapy when it comes to dehydrators, but if it works i think its a steal at 40$

I have a black one. works great.  It will dry all 4 trays, packed, in 24 hrs.  :super:

I bought an Oster dehydrator from Wal-Mart recently.

Plugged it in with the trays full, and I believe it short-circuited within less than a minute or two..

I have yet to take it back.  I was going to pursue the warranty but it's really much more trouble than it's worth.  I hope the best for yours, though.  Good luck.

update... i stuck like 10 grams in there before going to work yesterday came home 13 hours later cracker dry, thought that was neat, stuck 100 grams in there, 11 hours later cracker dry, so it works well and its cheap, and if you get it from walmart you can always get free lifetime replacements, can't beat that

I just bought this too. I needed one right away and this is the only one they had stocked. I couldn't wait to order one online. The only other store that I could think of that might have a dehydrator was Bed, Bath and Beyond but they weren't open when I went by, so Walmart it was.

Anyway, works great so far. If it breaks, I'll just take it back and get a new one. If hey say no, ill just replace it myself in the bathroom....

Do they sell additional trays for this model? I could probably find some on ebay.

Just curious if anyone has used it with more than 4 trays and how that worked out.

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

I paid 101$ Didgeridoo Dollars for a display model sunbeam dehydrator, seems pretty sturdy, although i had to cut some of the trays out to make room for fatter shrooms.

I was looking for a cheap one for quite some time, and could only find this one. Seems to work rather well though ^_^.

I love having things delivered right to my door... I think I hung out at the mall enough as a teenager to make up for a lifetime of brick and mortar shopping.. :lmafo:

i think i discovered my issue. dont set it on a carpert. it gets too hot and it shuts itself down. not enough ventilation. set it on a hard surface :awedance:

I have mine on my mini-fridge in my shroomroom.  going strong for almost a year now and I got mine seconed hand off of E-bay.  :stoned:

the cheapest i could find on ebay was nigh on £55.yes,£££'s with p+p.

mine cost...zilch.
it's an old addapted shotgun fc arranged with some jerried racking.
just cut out a larger hole and fit a computer fan behind it.

i am slightly concerned about the massive spore load i'm releasing into the house and breathing in though,sure i read sometime, that ROGER RABBIT became allergic to oyster spores.:eek:
the obvious answer,for cube growers, is to pick before they start dropping of course.
