Hydra Tek

I will be posting here as I make progress with documenting the "hydra effect".

This is more commonly known as trimming, the process that allows you to enhance fruit-body size and potency by removing the pinhead at precisely the right moment.

First, you must wait for pins to appear.

Now, just as they begin to take form and change color, remove the tip with a sterile scalpel.

If this is a clean cut, the pin will heal and begin to grow much quicker than untrimmed pins. The mass and potency doubles, at least following this method.

It is that simple. Now of course, if you get really good at this, some of the pins will grow 2 or more mushroom caps. This is where the hydra myth comes into play.

It's not a claim, it is backed by pure science, though I might not be able to explain it very well.

i dont see how or why that would affect the mushroom. i would like to see a trusted cultivator throw their 2 cents into the pot, about this.

I can't speak for others, but this does work. I will start documenting and taking pics on the next grow, and hopefully explain some of the more scientific aspects.

You see, there are magical properties in these mushrooms, that when tapped in to can do some astonishing things. All will be revealed in due time.

I've never thought about that.

Maybe my research of cubes will eventually lead me to proving this theory. As for now, I have a lot on my plate. Any knowledge you are willing to share on the subject will be noted, and filed away for later use.
