dehydrator question

will the 500 watt dehydrator from wal-mart work without unhooking heating element. 95-110

has anyone had exp. with this dehydrator.

Is the temp gauge adjustable? I use mine at 95 degrees and have had no problems with potency. Most dry out within 10 hours at 95 degrees...the really big fruit bodies, if you don't slice them in half, take a few more hours til cracker crisp.

Yeah, man. Boppity knows what he's talking about. I keep mine at ~90-95 and have no probs with potency.
