Question about food dehydrators' effect on potency

I understand that cool-drying with dessicant is the absolute best way to preserve potency, but when it comes to drying larger amounts this becomes very space consuming. Does anyone have experience with dehydrators like those for sale at Sporeworks or Fungi Perfecti? Are they efficient? More importantly, do they have any effect on potency? Potency and efficiency of space are of upmost concern to me. Does anyone have ANY kind of solution or info that might possibly help me? A cool personal setup? ANY relative info is much appreciated. E-mail me at bluefoot77@yahoo.com if you'd rather. THANKS!
Peace

I use a food dehydrator.
but mine has a temp control.
And I keep the temp at 85 degrees and there is no loss of potency.
they are cracker dry in 24 hours.
If you were interested in getting one from Sporeworks or Fungi Perfecti.... I would email them and ask them if there units have a temp control.
I have checked Ebay many times and have never seen a dehydrator like mine listed....they do have several other temp control units listed...they seem expensive.
Mine is a Galloping Gourmet Snack Express.

Higher than 85 and it starts breaking down. You can get a cheap dehydrator and take out the heating element so just the fan blows on it...
