I must not be looking the right way when it comes to searching in THAT tall of grass and all the other places you and NorthGaHunt find them. Its been open sod for me everytime...thought I was in prime territory the other day but only kept finding those dam slimy blue/pink shrooms with the divide always on one side of the cap.

Didn't find any weilii today, but I did come across this jelly type fungus.  Don't know what it is though.

He is probably referring to a member of Deliciosus.  They have been out in force for the last 2 to 3 weeks, and match the description.

i thought so, i've been collecting some blue and green ones with reddish undersides, but buddy won't let me put them in his omelettes.

Those were cool. Gonna go check the Weilii garden tomorrow. BTW I have some decent looking prints from the last handful and Im grabbing some jars tomorrow to start getting this show on the road.

Do you have any pictures? Were these grass or woodland?

What type of mushroom did you find, how did you conclude a positive id?
