mycellium balls on brf cake... nothig happening after 2 weeks *updated with pics*
    #11369990 -

allright, so I put 5 dunked/rolled half pint brf cakes into a shotgun box 2 weeks ago... 3 of them are doing next to nothing...

one of them started growing fluffy mycellium past the verm layer within a day or 2 and has formed huge myc balls, which I thought were knots, but apparently not... after about a week, the balls stopped growing, no pins or anything are forming... what the hell is going on?

and the other one grew a nice thick layer of myc on the top edge of the cake, stopped after about a week.. again nothing has changed on it in about a week

is there something wrong with my cakes?... or should I just be a little more patient?

I was misting and fanning 6-7 times a day... sometimes more.... too much maybe?

they get a few hours of indirect sunlight a day, and the room they are in is at a steady room temp

PESA strain

edit* here's a picture... it's been quite awhile since this post, and it looks pretty much exactly the same, other than the fact that some of growths turned a brownish color

WTF IS GOING ON WITH THIS CAKE??

i dont know whats wrong though. Misting 7 times a day is probably a little much.... I know when you get big puffy myc its a sign of too high temps or too wet

If it were my cake, ide toss it
