i wish i could take that kind of training, there fighting is like a dance but lethal.
drunken fist is a bit confusing as of effectiveness in a fight.

Eye gouge, poke the eye, always works in every situation. Nice quick strong long fingered eye poke will bring down the biggest man.

it's supposed to be very confusing to your opponent or whatever. and the fluid movements makes for effective maneuverability.

I've got almost 10 years of Martial Arts experience (Brown belt in Karate, Red in Kickboxing.) Had to quite formal training when I moved though, since a suitable trainer was impossible to find, they all sucked so much I was better than the instructors, I mean, this guy has a 5th dan Black Belt, and he is fat, FAT!?!?!?!? WTF!?

In any case, I have done so many kicks over the years that when I do one, if I hadn't initiated the kick myself, I wouldn't know it ever happened.

Oh, and just to add... Even though I CAN hit a person unconscious I have never came in a situation where I felt fighting would be necessary, (meaning I either fight or I die, no way around it, that way, I don't hold back. My biggest weakness is that I hold back to much, since I just want to end the problem, not cause new ones, but that ends up being the wrong choice, because then I only get people angry.

Be careful good way to get eye gouged or stabbed or kicked in the head.   

The fight starts standing up! Never force a ground fight, especially on the street unless your getting your ass kicked standing up and cant run away. On the street movement and footwork is king. most people who start fights usually smoke and cant go longer than 1 or 2 min. Be aware of possible escape routs or any thing you could find as a weapon. Stay moving around, go in circles and be aware of what on the ground. poke the eye or use foot jabs and punching jabs. If he try's to take you down just sprawl or hit him with upper cuts and knees. Best thing to do if he looks dangerous and no ones around just run he might have a weapon. If you want to fight stay moving around and wait for your shot. Wait for him to tire or do something stupid like trying to shoot on you or throw a hay maker. Take Thai Boxing, fights start standing up and a good stand up fight will beat any great ground fighter. Ground fighting's good to know but stand up is king, by along shot too.

I'm not going to lie, I could probably substantially beat the shit out of all of those whom have posted in this thread. I'm a trained fighter; I almost instinctively react to movements with my reflex. I've studied Jeet Kune Do for 9 years, studied MMA for 2 years, and muay thai for 1 1/2 years. I've lost fights, yes, but I can confidently presume that I could whoop on any average joe with no formal training in martial arts.

I'm also drunk so I'm in the fighting mood, so all of those whom think they can stand a chance, I do plead for you to present yourself accordingly. I'm always up for a good fight.

i think i really should tho, i don't do much cartio and practicing moves seems like a fun way to do it.
put some loud music and start kicking air lol.
i am gonna look up some training classes in my area.....

Yea, well I have done muay thai for 15years under Ajarn chai and Brazilian Jujitsu for about 15 as well sense high school wrestling. If your drunk and want to fight I dont care who you are cuz you have no chance. Our gym is Eugene Oregon, Eugene Muay Thai camp. Im there every day and I aint no joke home boy. Come drunk too, give your self better odds.
