Why are you having such a hard time finding a job?

Does everyone in your city watch "Intervention"?  I've only seen that shit once, I don't enjoy the exploitation of addicts and condemning someone on national television for choices that hurt no one but the addict.

Yeah, what is his case anyway? He's (attempting) to sue defamation of character or something? That'll likely never work.

Also, like previously stated, i'm sure there was a ton of waivers signed which doesn't allow him to sue, especially since he did it willingly.

You know, some lawyer might take it on.

There is an issue of mistrust in that

a) he couldn't be told honestly that he was on Intervention and
b) his address was the Stratosphere when he signed papers

OP should find the sleaziest lawyer he can find:

one who wants to win the case to pay for a coke habit.

it's not exploitation of you volunteered and I see no issues with it,
seems to me you're just in a state of remorse because you're broke,
jobless and got nothing out of your 15 minutes of fame other than
treatment which you were not really interested in since you went back to
it all after you got out

you cant blame the show for any of this, it was your choice

It seems like people with high IQs frequently go the route of extreme drug abuse or suicide, and something is very wrong with our culture when brilliant minds feel the need to destroy themselves.

Intelligent people are prone to mental illness.  I have an IQ in the 140s, and when I was 13 I took the SAT (because I could, I was in private school), scored an 1100 (good for a 13 year old), highest in my school.  Was invited to take summer courses at Johns Hopkins.  I didn't, because I was dealing with panic disorder/depression/OCD at 13 years old.  Went the route of drug abuse (mainly opiates and lots, and lots of pot), and here I am, 24, still struggling to deal with daily life.

I'm just glad I went with opiates and not shit like coricidin and DXM.  At least I'm still in school and getting ready to take the actuary exams.  Sure, I have depersonalization disorder, don't experience emotions and always feel like I'm in a dream, but at least I'm not laughing at garbage men and going to the hospital for DXM induced injuries.

Were you put in any special programs for kids with high IQs?  Your school should have seen to your abilities more.  Why did your mother insist on dating abusive black men?  Seems like you got the hard shaft dude, I feel bad for you.
