I don't know if you've noticed, cops get away will A LOT worse on a daily basis.
I'm not doubting that they do, but I've accidently called 911 before, and they immediately call back and say is everything okay? to which I go, yeah my bad I just hit it by accident and they say okay have a nice day.
They don't automatically send an officer without trying to get back in touch with you considering they know what number and apparently the address from which it was called and than have 5 cops swarm for no reason other than saying you can't search. That's just unrealistic.
I gaurantee it, everyone in this thread call 911, let it ring for a second and hang up....GUARANTEED you get an instant call back asking if everything is okay and that will be the end of it.

Cops here are really hungry. They do nothing but sit around busting people for going 65 in a 55 zone on an open highway, and busting college kids for weed/ being drunk on part nights
They're bored.
It didn't even ring so it surprised me that they showed up. No one called me back either.
It could have been because the phones lines were out since this morning up until about an hour ago.
I hung up within 2 seconds.

Yeah they opened one of my back kitchen cupboard doors for some reason. I don't know if they went through anything else, and nothing seems to be stolen

No. They said I might be charged with obstruction or something. I can't remember what the hell he said it was exactly.
Think he was trying to scare me since he was already pissed off at me.

They had probable cause. They were under the impression you were holding someone against there will and they managed to grab the phone and dial 911 but you hung it up. The police are trained to think in the worst case scenario. That's all that will be said in court and the judge will usher you on your way. If you really wanna know just call a lawyer and explain exactly what happened. I bet they say exactly what I say.

someone hitting 911 by accident isn't probable cause in the slightest, unless a voice said "help" before the hangup, they would need reasonable suspicion that someones life might be in danger for them to enter without permission and "I don't consent to searches" doesn't give that to them....I'm not gonna keep going with this thread through, best of luck OP, I just can't buy it.
Probable cause means they have some kind of evidence. They saw or heard something, smell it, something along those lines.
Reasonable suspicion means they have a lot/at least some indicators suggesting there is something else going on, one quick 911 ring and hang up isn't that. For example, someone else calling and saying they might of saw someone being forced into the home, and gave a description of the person doing it that matches what OP was wearing/skin color/gender
They had suspicion, not reasonable suspicion, and that wouldn't be enough. OP could of been trembling in fear when they showed up, that is also not a reason, you're allowed to act however you want, even if it comes off as suspicious.

According to this fucking prick, it was enough for him to suspect that I had beat the shit out of someone in my home and managed to hang up their phone before they said a word
I'm calling my lawyer tomorrow to see if I can go anywhere with this in court.

No when you accidently call 911 you ride that shit out wait till they answer say shit I seriously miss dialed and they let you go. Hanging up immediately is suspicious as fuck. And the police call log starts the second you finish the last 1 there is no waiting for them to answer they immediately know you dialled 911.

I got that, but that doesn't give them the right to illegally search my home, frisk me, etc because I called 911 for 2 seconds.

I've miscalled police at least 5 times that I can count, I got a callback every single time, they didn't even attempt that here and basically raided OP....if you're willing to believe this story at facevalue with only that to go off of, so be it, I can't buy it.
Basically allowed myself to be trolled at this point knowing it's almost undoubtedly a fake story the whole time

You don't know how the law works, sorry to tell you, the amount of reasons OP could of called is endless, they're minds can jump to worst case scenario, there actions can not without good reason, and this is not good reason. They can't assume, and than act on that assumption, they need cause, evidence, REASONABLE suspicion, not suspicion alone.
It doens't matter how it could look, they can not assume with NOTHING to go on besides something that could be a million different things.

How the fuck does someone miss call the police 5 times in there life? How many three number phone numbers begin with 9? I can believe an unwarranted search but I can't believe someones stupid enough to call the police 5 times by accident.

I miss spoke, I meant as a kid I tried to *69 them to find out it didn't work, or just because I wanted to fuck with them. I can't believe someone as dumb as you to be honest, never become a cop, you'll get fired on day one with the way you think you can operate.
Or call 811, for some reason your phone will assume that is 911

See, you act on assumptions, that's why I said don't become a cop.
did you miss the "or fuck with them"....ONE time *69 hence the "find out it didn't work" and than calling from a friends house to fuck with their parents or a payphone to waste their time, 12 year olds do stupid things. And you act like I kept doing it from the same phone at the same place
Learn to read and stop assuming you fucking retard.
