I seriously need a trusted cultivator on this one. Please

Ok I originally had a very long drawn out thread detailing my plans, but I got yelled at for it.

In retrospect I deserved it.

Also I asked for a trusted cultivator, and it was taken as saying I only wanted to here from a trusted cultivator which is not the case. I would like to hear from anyone with experience. I would still like to get feedback from a trusted cultivator, but please anyone with an Idea feel free.

Before I get to long winded again, please let me get on with the point.

The point. Starting Monday the week after next, I'm building a bad ass terrarium. When it is finished it is going to look exactly like a fish aquarium, but it will be made of acrylic glass, so that it can be machined. The dimensions will be 4ft. long, 1.5ft. wide, and 2ft. tall.

What's the big problem with using aquariums? FAE

How can this be solved?

Well that is the big question. One of the best answers I've come up with is to have an aquarium that can be drilled into. I am solving this problem by building it of acrylic glass?

I am as a last resort going to drill holes in it the same way you would a traditional shotgun terrarium on all six sides, and leave it that way, but I am looking at other options that would not require drilling as many holes into the face of the acrylic glass.

I have come up with some other idea's that included built in fans, but assuming the feedback on that from experienced people, I've all but abandoned it.

Anyone have any Ideas on the matter before I start tearing into the materials. I only get one shot at this so your feedback is most valuable. Feedback from anyone is appreciated. Thanks alot

Honestly, I like the idea of having your FC be a show piece like a fish tank, but I think a basic tote with shrooms growing would be cheap enough...I mean the shrooms are what are important. But thats me tho

Wants to make a FC out of an aquarium so its easy on the eyes and if not drilling holes on the front side be ok for FAE....I think that is what I gathered. Oh and if his FC would be ok for bulk.  But I am not a TC so I cant give advice. :doh:

Ever think of just going with the air pump and bubble wand in the bottom of that set-up?

I don't think setting your shroom growing project on display so that everyone can see how cool you are is a very good idea.  It only takes one asshole/upset girlfriend to snitch you out.

But your probably just growing edibles, so what do I know?

I'm not a TC so take my words very cautiously, but if you're interested in moving from cakes to bulk you soon won't want anything to do with that bizarre FC you are proposing.  If display is your top priority then just use a fish tank with some perlite at the bottom and fan it out a few times day.  But don't build what you drew in those pictures, those fans in the lid is a horrible idea.  If you'll soon be doing bulk, stick to the shotgun you already have and start building some monotubs.
