So I have a nice LGT clone I have been running in shoeboxes. I have a couple that appear to be putting in a staggered harvest. Would it be more likely I am some what inconsistent in the evenness of my misting and ultimately my surface conditions, or would it just be varying genetics in the clone still. I seem to get 2 types of shoeboxes. One that puts in a 90-95% canopy of fairly even sized fruits. Then the one that puts out more thing pin sets but bigger shrooms, that appear to be maturing faster than the smaller ones. So I have 2 right now that will need some big shrooms harvested today, with smaller shrooms at the other end that will need a day or 2 yet.
Any theories? would I be right to narrow it down to one of these 2 being the cause of a staggered flush with a clone?

Wrong thread. But yes, it is either genetics or thickness. Yield should tell you which

I may have to go with conditions

It's probably both. Genetics are the major determining factor and even though a clone is being used there are still plenty of varying genetics. Conditions are secondary.

I might just try taking a clone of a clone, so to try to isolate what I want.

Try isolating a few single strains from a clone.

I do have a couple of plates in cold storage. I just thought a clone of a clone might help thin out the genetics.

Nah, that's not how it works. A clone culture will always have a varying set of genetics; although far fewer than multispore. The only way to thin the genetic herd is through isolation.

Ok!
I was thinking that if I cloned again, from a fruit with the genetics I am after, that clone would have less variation than the OG clone. Glad I put a couple plates in cold storage a while back.

Sometimes clones are isolates right off the bat. Not often
