ok i got put on probation a while ago i worked at kmart and ate a candy bar and a gator aid on break and did not pay for it . they fired me and i got put on deffered prosecution bc in NC its a felony to steal from employer . Blah Blah lol anyways the shithole i lived in was inspected buy county and they told me landlord should not have rented it so i had to move. I moved now i talk to po and he says he gave my case back to DA bc i didnt call him for a bit and had no contact ....

now he wants to know when i can be at his office !!! i think if i go there they will arrest me ?

what do you guys think ?

well shit the guy never returns my calls i mean i tried to call and left messages with info on what happened he never called. what do you think they will do for my offense ? i don't have any prior record and i am a student at local collage etc. this was my first offense and i still have no record .

Regardless of what they're going to do, running from the situation is not going to help (especially when it is the law). The situation you're in can only get better from the point you go and see your PO versus continuing to not contact him.

Ever think that he just wants to talk to you in person? PO's are almost always not out to get you. They realize you made a dumb mistake and want to help you get it off your record so that you can move on with your life.

im on deferred prosecution it don't hit record unless if i do there bitch work --- restitution, community service etc.

no prior record

yah he did talk about getting it moved to the new county im in but shit idk lol . he could slap cuffs on me there im not trying to run i just dont want to lose my job bc im in jail. i would lose my home and car.... FUCK. i wish they could just drop to misdemeanor and fine my ass it was a FUCKING CANDY BAR AND DRINK

any ideas of what they will do if i have to go thru courts instead of doing the deferred program ?

Stop fucking around and go. Not going will only worsen your situation. I agree candy and drink is a bit excessive but you did the crime and its time to deal with the consequences. If you dont, it will only get worst....WAY worst. If NC is that hard on a stolen candy bar and drink, think of what they will do and the situation you will be in for violating probating.

In other words, you may only need to go there so you and the PO can set everything up for you in the new county, meaning no jail. If you dont go, well you can count on jail time.

So go, may have no jail. Dont go, you WILL have jail!

I have gotten away with so much shit being on probation lol Good luck bro,

I had mine come to my house and search my room they found a beer can so I got violated for that, My brother text me and told me they where there so I said fuck it and didn't come home or go to work for a week lol only ended up with a piss test and 10 days of work crew

i contacted my old PO and she said not to worry bc in nc they cant arrest a person whos case is in deferred prosecution . so i dont have to worry about being arrested but she did say since my dickhead PO that i have now turned my paperwork into the da it is totally up to the da of what happens they could put me on normal probation than let the felony charge hit my record. what do yall think ? i think i could fight this maybe drag it out and they will drop it or lower the offense hhmmmmmm?
