It's so rare that the courts "forget" or lose shit like that, especially to out-of-staters. Save a copy of your reciepts after you pay your fines. (mine is suspended for not having paid, when I paid, on the very last day, but I did pay, and I threw the reciept out. I'm suspended for not having paid my ticket.)

It will take a minute for them to suspend your DL, but if you get a new one in a diff state ASAP, you won't have to worry when they checks for anything like a suspended DL and warrants.

Similar story happened to a friend of mine. She almost shit her pants when she thought she got crazy fines for driving without it. You don't want to be suprised like that!!

Anyway, hope you have better luck w/ the 5-0 in the future!

I'm not sure, but I lived there for a short time(6 months), and I can see it being like that, back in the day. Alot of rednecks and a shitload of cops. I mean, alot!!

Actually the prosecuter told me that the paperwork would probably never make it to Florida, considering that I DID go to the court date and I DID have the money for the fine and costs right then. He said if i wouldnt have been there then they would have sent the paperwork to florida, but basically I am alright.

Even if the shit does go thru, i dont have anything to worry about cause im getting the hell outta the south.

Anyways the prediction is that all the shits just gonna get dropped, and i get to do frolik on the forest, as usual.
