gypsum, double case question

ok, so i couldnt find any gypsum when making my cakes so a question is, would it be beneficial to add gypsum to the verm i put on top of my pf cakes? or maybe even the dunking water?

also, is it good to add verm under your cake, ontop of the foil?

I just add 1 Tablespoon of gypsum per 5 jars
