Casing Questions - Please help

Yesterday I cased my cakes according the PF double ended casing tek... I used a knife to scrape off the old primordia. I used a layer of soaked vermiculite on the top and the bottom. Everything's cool except that I'm unsure about the blueing. It's not just a little blue; it's a lotta blue, as in scant traces of white. Will it go away, or should I be really concerned?

It'll be overgrown with fresh mycelia as your cakes rehydrate.
