can someone answer some hongos tek casing question

its me again! i've decided to go ahead and case a couple of my jars using hongos casing tek ( staight verm.) this is first attempt at growing shrooms at all. first can i just boil the verm to sterilize and put in my tin foil pan damp? what type of contams should i be on the look out for? can i use i jar that is about 90% colonize and go ahead and case it? or am i just asking for trouble?

Sterilizing the verm isn't needed, but I do it anyway. I do mine in a covered double boiler for an hour. The green, always the green. If you can't wait for full colonization, cut away any uncolonized portions and case. You're really better off waiting for the jars to colonize 100%.

Do u remember the guns and roses song ?? Patience!! Wait till the jar is colonized. If its slow, turn the jar upside down. I just put my vermiculate in the microwave for like 4-5 min.

i'm getting very impatient, but i think i can wait. do i put verm in microwave dry? and is it ok to directly mist with h2o2 once they're cased or does this damage the mycelium?
