My dad finding me on so many shrooms I was speaking nonsense (it wasnt because i took shrooms, it was cos id taken SO many) and then throwing a glass of wine across my face that hit the door and broke. Then I started crying, and said I was crying because I couldn't find my sock. After that I don't remember much except waking up and feeling really crazy

Just one question, why post all these negative messages in a trip tips forums? Aren't we supposed to be making trips better, not making them worse?

Anyways, my worst trip, 7.2 dried grams of P. cubensis. I was in my buddies basement, chillin having smokes, then I started to feel like total shit. I leaned over and blacked out. My friends say I went into full body convulsions, my body was twitching out of control, my legs fully flexed in the air, my arms flailing wildly. I started to gag, and couldn't puke. When I started coming too, I was trying to decide if I wanted to come back to reality yet, or stay passed out. It was the weirdest thing ever. I could choose to be passed out or not. I choose to not come back to reality once, then I choose to come back to reality the seccond time. I came too, my buddies were wondering if I was ok. I was completely wet, as if I went into a shower with my close on.

Anyways, after about an hour I decided to walk home. Luckily my trip was pretty much over because I was walking across a street, and a drunk driver nearly nailed me. I jumped out of the way and he nailed a traffic light, blew out his tires, and slid on his rims like 15 feet. I was freaking out, but I was too tired to care, so I asked the guy if he was ok, he said he was fine, and I left before the police came. Someone walking like he's on crack (I had massive leg cramps the whole walk) at 5 in the morning listening to trance. I still had shrooms on me, and I didn't feel like getting booked since you know they'd search me...

haha...my worst trip was similar. Back when i was growing shrooms like a year and a half ago i ate a quarter in my friends basement. It was ridiculous, i thought was drowning in the couch, and then i thougth i died, and all sorts of crazy crazy visuals. I was freaked out teh whole time. I didnt know who i was or what was real or anything. I stopped eating shrooms after that. I'll stick with LSD

i have a two 'worst ever' trips................one involves acid and the other mushrooms. they both involve parents and poor planning.

back in the mid nineties when i was a high school freshman, a few buds and i decided to drop some acid for the first time. everybody still lived with their parents- some of whom were strict and other didnt give a fuck, so naturally, we planned to stay at my friend wei's pad cus his mom didnt care.

we droped the acid around 8pm. everybody was chilln at the mall at first, then some people went off to do other things. wei and some other bros went to the store to get something to drink. unfortunatley, the older person whose ride they were in had to drop them off somewhere else and leave. everybody got seperated so i had to walk a mile back to a friends house who wasnt home and ask his mom to use their phone so i could call my parents to come pick me up.

as it turned out, i spent my first acid experience talking to my ultra-conservative parents hallucinating and not making a word of sense. im sure they knew something was wrong with me because i ended up in a rehab center a few months later.

my other worst ever trip was the first and only time i took shrooms in gel capsules. it was also back in the day when i had to worry about parents (asian parents kill for too many Cs on report cards) and didnt know the way of the mushroom as i do now.

it was friday night back in the high school daze and the parents had gone out to dinner so i had the pad to myself. i had bought 12 capsules loaded with shroom powder earlier in the day and convinced a friend to drive over and eat the capsules with me. we each ate 6 capsules at about 9pm and were tripn balls by 10. i ate the capsules on an empty stomach and had no clue how much i was consuming . at about 10:30, the reality hit that my parents were due to arrive soon and we were completely wasted- for some idiotic reason, i never considered the fact that i would be tripn hard when they got home. my buddy freaked out and decided to leave before they got home, which left me to face my parents in the middle of an intense level 3 trip..

everything ended up alright. i struggled to put together a few sentences for my mom when they got home and they left me alone the rest of the night.

the moral of these stories is to always have a solid plan before you ingest acid or mushrooms and to avoid conservative parents at all cost.

A very near and dear friend of mine told me the following story:

I had a few friends over, and some nice purplish dried shrooms were placed on the table. We had a round-robin of each of us picking which shrooms we wanted, one at a time. Me and my friend stopped at five each, and the other two stopped at four. One decided not to take his fourth, and handed it to me; a mean little tiny one that was determined to take my face off.

We all set out spiralling through video games and laughter, though the stomach twinges. We all started feeling very heavy, and sat down. Then I started feeling restless and started roaming through my house, not knowing where to alight, or what toy to play with, what room to be in. I started wishing I could just go to sleep, since my eyes were so heavy.

I decided to take a shower, but couldn't even change clothes for a good five minutes, so I decided to lie down on the bed. One of the friends was sitting in my papazan chair playing guitar, and I made him reassure me that death was not coming for me. Vaguely reassured, I layed down on my bed, made sure my mouth was open so I could breathe, and closed my eyes to the most insane closed eye visuals I could find. I kept contorting on the bed as I left the familiar. Sounds were strange, all sights were being flipped through a strobe (it seemed), so I concentrated on the only sense that worked: touch.

I finally announced I was going to ride the trip and ignore everyone for awhile. I fell all about the bed, tangling in sheets, falling on the floor, and finally rode my way out of it. At this point, I could hardly walk, and the nitrous bulbs people kept handing me were the only thing keeping me sane.

Turns out I was the most far gone, but we all had relatively bad trips because we underestimated the little magic fungi. Never again.

My worst trip was a solo mushroom voyage on 4.5 grams of VERY good cubensis (the best I've ever seen). Basically, it was bad only internally-there was never any physical danger, disturbing visuals, or chance of getting caught. After a walk (which was part of the very good beginning of the trip), I went back to my room but got stuck in negative thought loops that led to complete self-loathing (but I never considered physical suicide) and hatred of the world and all other people. This was strange because (sober) I'm confident (but not overconfident, I don't think) and have good self-esteem, and have never suffered from depression. This was coupled with a sense of the Buddhist/Schopenhaurian idea as reality as undifferentiated and one, and the ego as an illusion-thus, "I" don't exist. I had been reading and studying this philosophy with great interest for months, but on this trip, the idea was VERY negative to me, but still true. Finally I hit rock bottom with a complete self-loathing and understanding that I was insignificant.

However, after hitting this bottom, I felt a wonderful peace, helped by my reading of Hesse's Siddhartha two months earlier, as I recalled the river scene (though I certainly don't claim to be enlightened). I felt that it could never get any worse, an idea that was very comforting. So, in the end, the trip ended on a positive note, and I feel that I learned a lot from it. I now have more sympathy and empathy for people suffering from depression or other conditions, and I think I'm more sensitive to people in general. So, a bad trip ended on a positive note, and I learned a lot from it as a result of preparation (reading that book, for example) and integration of the experience.

My friend had a pretty bad introspective trip, first deciding he was gay, then deciding to break up with his girlfriend because of that fact, then deciding that he was the loneliest, most isolated person in the world (he is a heterosexual extrovert in real life). He started crying, then thought he was a vampire, and that any sunlight would kill him. He leaned back in our tent trying to escape the light, and almost made the tent collapse in on us. I was tripping at least as hard as he was, and all this negativity in the proximity, especially when our egoes were intertwined and barely distinguishable, made me have at least as bad of a trip as he was having (call it a vicarious bad trip).

lol...I've had the most insanest trips ever. Not doing mushrooms anymore because of them, mushrooms can get realllllly reallllly uncomfortable sometimes. I posted this trip on erowid also.

I wrote this a while ago. I was living with my parents at the time. I probably should spellcheck, but bear with me.

Last night, I musts ay was one of the most craziest, insanest nights I will probably ever have in my entire life. I decided to pick up soem mushrooms, with a buddy thene at them at his house (Im experienced with mushrooms to a great extentbut nothing, absoliutly nothing could comprehend this). I ate them, and right after eating I felt effects, not really enujoyable effects though. Anyways to make a long story short we started hardcore tripping in my buddies house, watching TV, you know doing mushroom stuff.

Anyways it was late we ate the mush at 9 pm and itwas like 11 and I was VERY VERY out of my mind. I came out of the jon, and went back into my freinds house woth soemthing all over my pants, theyhy were soaking wet..after thinking about it, I must've (gulp) peed on myself whi;le I was in the bathroom. All of a sudden my freind started hinting at really weird things.

He said to me that, I was a sinner, and that people these days dont know whats good or bad for them. For hours, and hours I was in complete helll (i know whoever has had a bad trip on mushrooms its complete hell, but this was real..TOO REAL) My freind started farting, like HELLLLLA....and he was in all these weird postions (almost liek sexual positions..)on his bed. I then looked down and started rocking back and forth constantly...He then said that I nwas fucking stupid, and that I don;t know whats good for me, and I started confessing to him all of my sins.

I thought my freind was god. At the same time, I also thought he was lucifer (the devil) because he was offdering me sinful things (weed, cigarettes, pornos)..I suddewnly started saying lord help me, god save me please..and started chanting..even thoug I walk in the valley of the shadow of death I hear no evil speak no evil, that saying y'know. When I was a kid I used to go to christian camps, and it all came back to me. I should've lsitened to the preacher, and what he said for me to do when Iw as dying. Then I started singing the song Hallalughia (or w/e that s0ong is called). All along with this, I was hearing incredibly real sounds of hell (or my perception of hell at the time) tires screeching, burning rubber, people screaming...all that...I was scared to death, I was dead..

I asked for a bible loudly and he said to me SHUT UP..you dont want my parents hearing this, if they wake up they will be mad (I oif course I thought thathe was lucifer, and his parents were the ultimate devils or w/e, so I started whispering) He apparently wen tinto his sisters room and got me a bible. I thoguht he was god giving me a chance to save my sinful life, so I started reading the bible out loud, starting with genesis. He then told me to phone my father and confess my sins..So I did. I told my dad everything That I ahd done as a kid..I told him that I had stolen from him in the past..that I do drugs and so on, and so on..I alkso said some very very homosexual things, that I do not want to rmemeber whatsoever. My parents picked me up, and I thought I was a walking skeleton walking into heaven (heaven of course being my house) (oh and did I tell you that the whole way to my house ion ym moms car I was reading the bible out loud?)...

More stuff happened. I just cant think about it right now..I don;t want to tyhnik aboiut thsi right now..I just cant comprehend it..I only ate an eighth of cubes..and tripped out for a LONG TIME..and when I woke up this mornign I thought that I was in heaven, andI started cryig because I was a ghost, and had fucked my whoe life up with drugs, and fucked everrtones liufe up....

Ive been talking to my mom, and she said that I was completely out of it, and that she thought I was Od'ing on pcp or some otger type of drug...I never would of thught that mushrooms had this kind of power. I don;'t know if I had an actual revelation, or What..But All that I kjnow, is that im going to pick up a bible and keep it with me at all times..because this was just crazy. I was at the gates of hell last nite..I saw, heard and felt the most INSANE shit... If you guys dont beleive me thats cool, because I soun oike some weirdo talking about nothing...but Im teling you that it's true....and A life changing experience...

Worst trip ever:

Started off amazing. Was listening to Beatles in my buddies' garage. The door was open about a foot, and the sun was streaming in right near the top thru a line between two sections of door. I watched as three different colors of smoke (pot, tobacco, insence) curled together and twisted in the flat stream of sunlight.

Then all these people I didn't know came barging into the garage, all drinking. I got all paranoid and ended up on the floor of the bathroom in a cold sweat, sure I was about to die.

Seconds seemed like eternity.

That was my only real bad trip tho  :smirk:

My worst trip was in Westport, CT antique shopping with my girlfriend. It actually wasn't that bad, the beginning and end of the trip were fine (actually the end was really nice walking along the beach and seeing all the quaint houses). We ran into Martha Stewart in on of the antique shops and I was looking at really good first edition books, and was forced out of the aisle because Martha wanted to see the books, watching all the women employees in the store tend to her and hang around like leeches was disturbing (not to mention Martha herself is just a beastly woman). I've never really had a bad trip other than that.

After ingesting 5grammes of howegrown psylocbin, with a friend I had the scariest and weirdest trip ever.

It started with the usual laughter and eye candy visuals, melting of lines, surfaces joining together. Then all of a sudden we had forgotten who we where how we got there but for some strange reason just felt like we needed to know the time and everything would be alright. Unfortunatley we didn't have a watch or a clock in the house and where to fucked to go outside to find out the time. I called my girlfriend who was in work, but after hanging up the phone after learning of the time, I could not remember if I had called her and still felt the urge to know the time. I called her 4 times, according to my girlfriend.
After the forth time I managed to write down the time, I felt safe for some reason becuase I knew the time. I sat back down to enjoy the rest of my trip. Sitting on the couch facing my friend while he was playing guitar I closed my eyes and found that I could read my DNA and while reading it, it shoed my images, I felt like I was been giving a visual crash course in mans history. I saw ancient civilisations, danced with the druids of Ireland during their ceremonies.. as I flew through all of the information that is encoded in my DNA, I turned to my friend and said 'I am evolving, right now' . He was pretty fucked and just said sweet, but was looking at me in a weird way. I then looked at the sofa next to him where he was sitting, some voice in my brain shouted at me 'all of this, you create, all of this, you create' I understood that I created reality and started to play with it. I turned to my friend and said 'look the couch is a fountain' he turned and looked as the couch turned into a fountain, I told him to turn around and look at the curtains which where blue, I commanded them to be red and they turned red. My friend saw this to and was slowly starting to get mad at me.. when all of a sudden he turned into a creature that was not human at all and told me that I'm not allowed to do this, I'm not supposed to be here, the creature was as scared of me as I was of it. I was freaking out, then my girlfriend arrived, I got up to answer the door, still pretty fukcing freaked by the creature had turned back into my friend by the time I got back form the door. I sat back down on the couch and then both my girfriend and my friend turned into these creatures, and where telling me that I had broken the rules, I was fucking terrified and suddenly all of reality that I knew dissapeared, I was a half of a body, that was attached to a steel wall, that had cables and wires coming out of it. I was inside a giant machine, I saw scores of rows of people inside the machine. I turned to the creatures and siad 'what if I resist' they turned to me and told me I would be ejexted form the programme. I couldn't belive what was going on. Things then started to mxi up (realities that is) I coudl see parts of the machine in my realisy and parts of my house, the wall that I was attached to moved me to my bedroom and put me in what looked like my bed, the room went from looking like my bedroom and a small cell in a mass of cells inside a giant machine. My girlfriend got into the bed with me, she was asking me all kinds of fucked up questons liked, why don't I watch telly ? why dont I drink coke ? her appearance went from that of the creature and back to my girfriend every couple of seconds.

Then form his bedroom my friend called me in, my girlfriend said go to him, I went into his room well this giant wall/arm/cell that I was part of moved me his room, when I walked In I knew who the person was sitting on the bed befrore, me it was SATAN, sat on the bed with his legs crossed smoking cigar. He said to me, you have a choice, you can go back into your cell and live in the real world that you can now see and eventually die and go to heaven or you can go back inside and in a few hours everything will return to normal for you ... but you will know forever that your reality is merely an illusion. I was so scared and didn't know what was going, I said to him, I just want to go back, I just wanna go back he smilled looked at me and said go back inside and wait it out, she will look after you until the transition is complete.

I went back inside and lay on the bed but I could feel that I was attached to this machine through some pipes that ran into my spine.

I lay there and waited, I heard a voice singing, the most beautiful voice I have ever heard, a womens voice, the singing was almost like a crying, pleading tune. It was the voice of GOD, she begged and pleaded with me to do something about this now that I know the truth, so many come and see and so many do nothing she said.

The voice subsided afer a while and I waited and waited and waited until finally I coudl no longer see any of the machinery and was just lying in my bed.

my worst was when i was at a music festival

i thought the whole camp wanted to chase us down and kill us not fun i thought i saw lights coming out from behind my tent

but i just went to sleep haha

next night we were smoking a 6  skin with them

First time on weed, having ego death, seeing my body rot while a long, long time passed by without anyone noticing or caring.
Also, meeting the mechanical puppeteer and realizing that EVERYTHING was controlled by this machine. All the furniture was made of machinery, and the machines were dancing to ultra-hardcore techno as a sadistic ritual for my loss of reality. Then I thought I was in a funny sitcom where I had a relationship with reality. I felt really lonely, and really bad. Also on pot.

One night about 3 years ago some friends and I decided to eat some shrooms., It was a nice night. Just as we started coming up, our friend rang us and told us his cousin, whom we'd hung out with numerous times and smoked pot with, had killed himself by cutting his own throat with a pair of scirrors
