My mom called my cell phone and left this horribly mean message saying i was a liar and was leading a horrible lufe and was going to hell. I mistakenly listened to my messages and went spiralling into a bad trip.

being at disney land on alto fo acid with friends and mistkenly got on small world when we thought we were getting on another ride(dont ask) it was hell i heard somone say hed like to redecorate small world with a shotgun id have to agree

Having my stoned friend think it's funny to make noises and pretend he's not. That was just not cool. I would have hit him. Also having crickets chirping constantly for an hour or so. Or maybe my friend being a show off and always screaming lyrics and pretending to be a big shot rock star. This is why I prefer to trip alone

I remember being on mescaline once listening to music downstairs and some relatives dropped in that hadn't seen since I was a friggen boy scout. Needless to say there was a big family meal/celebrfation and I HAD to come upstairs and sit at the supper table(I was only 17). I had hair half way down my back and listened to about half an hour of derisive comments aboout my physical appearance whilst I stared helplessly/haplessly at my food which was swirling around on my plate.....There was a lot of speed/strychnine/aresenic in my tab of mescaline and I couldn't hold my fucking fork still......i meant it was banging against the side of my plate......scary stuff

I was camping July 1st weekend at this horrible campsite. The Rangers there mustve been SS troops in disguise they were so strict. We caught shit for everything we did the whole weekend. They repeatedly threatened to call the police and charge us for dumb shit, and patrolled our area relentlessly. But we decided to trip anyway.
I was the trip guide i guess, as three of our 5 trippers had never chewed before. Needless to say the shrooms kicked in and things started to get weird. Everyone loved them, it started out as an awesome trip but then things went bad- fast. The Rangers started to come out of the woodwork like goddamn insects (which were now biting us as well), I looked around and saw all of my friends tripping hard, and generally acting like hyenas crazed on mushrooms. Jumping up and down, yelling weird shit- just acting like drug addicts and attracting lots of attention.
Almost as soon as it started the pressures from the brutal surroundings became too much to properly grasp without the risk of mental collapse. The rangers, police, fucking behemoth bugs, and trying to calm my firends down so The Man doesnt get the excuse to throw us in "the hole" for the rest of our lives combined to squeeze the shit out of my karma. I was having a bad trip, and my friends were just completely out of their minds with the mushroom joy.

Uh, well the only bad trip I had was pretty much the fault of my overall general mood and my jackass ex roommate. This taks place in my dorm my freshman year in college. The trip begins at about 9 PM.
I took 2 hits of liquid LSD on sugar cubes and played some video games with my friend down the hall. The shit started to kick in good. He was going out clubbing later that night so a bunch of his friends came over. They all started fucking with me. The usual shit, waving thier hands in front of your face making noises etc. I was not chill with this so I went back to my room, put on some Cream, my black light and spaced out. My roommate came back and was headed out to the bars for the night and was getting ready. We were cool, both kinda smokers so he didnt mind I was tripping.
Well my CD was over and I realized that I left my other book of CD's down in my friends room that I was playing video games with. I ran down the hall to get them. Luckily for me he was still there, but heading out the door. I grabbed my CDs and made my way back down the hall to my room. Like most dorm rooms, the doors locked behind you. I didnt grab my keys because I was just running down the hall. Well my roommate though it would be cool to lock my ass out of the room and leave! I spend about 15 minutes in the hall panicking. I was tripping pretty hard so my logic wasn't working too great. I realized after what seemed like an eternity that my RA had the master key to the hall and could let me in. My RA's room couldn't have been more than 30 feet away, but it could have been a mile. I got down there and knocked. My RA opened the door, there was my roommate and some of my friends playing video games. MY RA was like "What's wrong with you?", very sarcastically. He knew I was tripping, he didnt mind. Anyway he let me in after my bastard ass roommie and everybody fucked with me. Things were not going well.
I laid down when I got back. This was my first bad trip, only bad trip, and unfortunately last trip. I had no idea at that time how to stop a bad trip. I isoalted myself in my room, put on some music and just tried to chill. I began to peak, and I peaked hard, harder than I ever had before. I got some good open eye visuals. Really good melting and shit. I was still not in a great mood, very agitated. Then I came down. I came down hard. I did not come down completely however. I was still geting slight audial hallucinations, sleeplesness, and the leftover anxiety. I flipped on the TV and watched MTV for a while.
At about 2:30 am my roomie comes in drunk off his ass. He fucks with me for a while and then passes out on top of his bunk. About 2 hours later I am still just as bad as I was. I had no problems really, I just wanted to come down, go to sleep. I had a test later that day. Then, my roommate projectile vomits all over my computer and my bunk(I was on the lower). This goes on for about 3 minutes. I can't wake him up. He pukes on me. Then I start freaking out about how my roommate is going to die b/c I was too fucking tripped out to help him(Begin the downward spiral). He wakes up, laughs at me, and goes back to bed.
I sit on our couch and contemplate me. Blah blah. The usual. My grades were poor and I was getting down on myself. I begin this awful self reflective BS about how I cant do anything right. I try going to sleep. No go. MTV and ESPN keep on repeating the same BS. I get aggitated. I look the clock, its about 9 in the morning. I am like WTF? Why am I still tripping. Then I start freaking out. I was never going to come down, I am going to be like this forever, blah blah blah. I would up coming down at noon or so, some 15 hours after I started. I was exhausted.
Hmm, well that was long. Sorry about that. Bad trips are definately the worst part(duh) but I would have to say having somebody vomit on you is definately one of the worst things that can happen.

First time I ever tripped, I ate five hits of acid and had no idea what I was in for. I ate them at a coffeeshop down in the "city" about half an hour away from my house (driving).
My friend Chris ate five hits with me, and after a while we started trippin' out on the wall of the coffeeshop. It was breathing and melting and doing all sorts of AWESOME things that I really had not expected. It was beautiful.
Then we took a walk down to the dock about 5 minutes away. We were supposed to be staying with a friend of ours who had an apartment nearby. After spending a while at the dock tripping out on the ducks floating in the water that looked like cows and what sounded like jungle birds all around us, we walked back to our friend's apartment.
We knock on the door. No answer. We knock again, louder. Again, no answer. I don't think I need to say, we FREAKED out. We began pounding on the door, thinking our friend was playing a joke on us. Dogs started barking all around the neighborhood and people started yelling at us from their windows. My friend Chris wouldn't stop pounding on the doors. I was just standing there in shock, trying to tell myself it would be okay.
Then Chris started crying. Chris, who had tripped before and was the one who was supposed to keep ME from freaking out. So that made me even MORE scared. We were supposed to stay in our friend's apartment. He was SUPPOSED to open the door and let us in.
What was going wrong?! Why wasn't he answering?? Where were we going to stay?!?! Thoughts were racing through my head a mile a minute.
We ended up sitting on the side of the road outside the coffeeshop we had been at that was now closed. We had no clue what to do. I started talking about how we could sleep on the streets. It would be all right. People sleep on the streets all the time, right??
After what seemed like FOREVER, a couple people I knew came by. I told them that I really really needed a ride home and they could tell from my dilated pupils that I was tripping. Eventually they agreed to give us both a ride even though they really did not like Chris for some reason.
I felt SO relieved. They took Chris home first and then dropped me off. The whole way home I was clutching my house key in my hand like I was holding on to it for dear life. I remember thinking "this is my key to safety and sanity... i love this key... i can't lose you. you are the only thing i have left."
I was REALLY messed up! After I got home it didn't get any better either. I went to my room and locked the door. I tried to sleep and found that IMPOSSIBLE. It felt like my brain was rolling around in my head. And my dad was sleeping in the room next to me. I just KNEW he was going to wake up and catch me.
So I left the house. I walked around my town for HOURS. I ended up taking a bus BACK to the coffeeshop sometime after the sun came up. I was still tripping hard and didn't feel like I could go home.
Well, to make a long story short, I ended up calming down in the coffeeshop and taking a bus back home a little later. It all ended up fine.
Haha, sorry so long! But that was THE scariest experience of my life. I haven't done acid since, but I think now I would b/c it has been long enough. I've tripped on shrooms a few times since then and have had no similar problems.

The most annoying thing that has ever happened to me was on the fourth of july. I had a friend call me up and say hey lets shroom. So i went over and around 11pm we ate some caps. I ate 3 grams and he had around 1.5. So we peak and we are enjoying the mellow part of the ride and he gets up and says hey dude i am going to bed can you take off. I got pissed and it put me into the worst trip ever. It sucked ass and you know how your mind goes so i was freaking out that i pissed him off somehow and then i had to drive home while i was tripping ballz. It was actually kind of a nice drive. the visuals were toatlly gone by the time i left and i drove better than i do sober. It just pissed me off that i had to leave his place shit i was pissed but it was worth the trip it is good to keep things real and have that bad trip once in a while to keep things in perspective.

I haven't had any real bad trips, I've done mushrooms only.
The worst thing I saw on mushrooms was someone wigging out on a very small dosage. He was my roommate's friend, and this was his first time doing mushrooms. He had also smoked some pot beforehand, first bonghit he ever took (I think). So I am hippyflipping with my friend, and my roommate and his friends eat these mushrooms chocolates (not very strong, me and my friend ate real mushrooms). We come back after taking a nice walk back to my room, and see this guy totally destroyed by the mushrooms. Barely able to walk and talk, slouched over in the cough, mumbling garbage. He wasn't responsive to anything we said. Now me and my friend had taken much more mushrooms, and were quite thrown-for-a-loop watching this. Needless to say, we left after a few minutes.

lol, i had a buddy that took a hit of 60/8th out of a bat and the bastard started wiggin out sayin he was having a heart attack and stuff, all i could really tell him was no your not calm down, but he just couldnt do it then he stopped comming around for like a month, but hes back now, i havnt offered him any smoke yet though...

this ones for tripmeister, i have had that " brain shock last time i tripped on cambodians, its like rinign and your crackin in yourhead its always at the end of the trip too, maybe your talkin bout something else maybe not but i have noticed that.

It's just really hard to describe... It's like a 2-4 second long, high frequency feedback that you feel in your brain more than you hear in your ears.

For me it would be the night that I took 5 drops of LSD and 500mg of DXM. That wasn't the bad part...the bad part was in the midst of that trip...one of the people at the tripping party "G'ed out" and was passed out for the whole night and the next morning. Everyone there was on acid and some of us took flips...but this dude took G and lied about how much he took. Was an unpleasant evening to say the least.

My second time dosing on shrooms.. hadn't shroomed in like a year.
At about 8 in the morning my friend came over with what was susposeed to be 40 grams of shrooms.. but I think we got jipped so I estimate it was closer to 20-30. So we go to the forest, dose up during the walk. I consumed about 6 - 10 grams, he ate the rest of the bag(when I wasn't looking) because he's a jackass. Anyways, we lay against a log, it all started fun but then the trip got way to intense and he started wiggin out. He doesn't remember the trip, but I remember him scared yelling things that didn't make sense, at one point he crawled onto me and started kneeing me in the back, Violence is NOT COOL when you are REALLY fucked up. I now look back and see he was extremely scared, not that I cared at the time or even now because it's his own fault he took so much! So I moved about 20 feet away from him, layed down trying to endure the trip.. I was vomiting on the ground and on myself, I was laying in my own vomit. I had and still don't have a sense of time.. I just remember looking up through the trees at the sky and the clouds moving by like a storm at 10x the normal speed. I was scared that his screaming would attract attention to us, and that people would find us and bust us. I was scared of what he was going to do, I felt like he was going to grab a stick or a rock and try to murder me in some disillusioned craze. I felt like he was the devil and I was bound together with him for the rest of the trip in our forest burial all alone. I remember laying on the ground looking at myself and the trip site from overhead, it seemed like a rape site to me.. I blamed my friend.. it felt like he raped my innocence away and there I was laying in my vomit in a forest with a devil. At about 2:40 pm I started to go home because I had to work at 3:00 pm, I was extremely panicked because I had to go past my parents and moreso into work and I was TRIPPING HARDCORE! So I run home, trying to rub off the leaves and dirt, constantly looking at my watch. I go inside, my parents are home, I run to my bathroom, take a shower notice that my pupils are the size of dimes and I have cuts and scratches all over my body. Time was clocking down before I had to be to work.. I was going to be late(I worked in a factory and it's shift work so you gotta be there right on time to take over) My parents were upstairs at this time, I ran into my sister, she was frantic telling me a story about how my parents were already drunk, and a certian 400 pound friend who was previously constipated plugged up our toilet and the entire upstairs floor reeked of shit and was minorly flooded. My mother had made me lunch for my 8 hour shift, it was 2 uncooked no name hotdogs in buns. I had puked up everything and was starving.. in my job it takes tons of energy to keep going. So I somehow make it out of the house, my sister drives me to work still blabbing.. I get to work.. I'm late.. I can't even stand because my stomach is in so much pain.. my supervisors know I'm on something because I see them direct my other bosses to take a walk with them away from me and I KNOW they are talking about me. They are kind and don't really make me work but I am hammering myself for being such a fuck up, telling myself how I'm not the person standing there, how I have presented myself as a lowlife drug addict. Anyways, I am put on my next machine, I didn't have enough energy to keep up.. I was in so much pain.. I vomit orange juice and mushrooms all over myself and the floor.. the product stacks up and overruns the collection tray spilling onto the floor.. I have to talk to one of my bosses asking to go to the washroom. Break finally comes.. I have a discusting fucking snack.. and it is hardly enough to power me. In short.. it was the worst day of my life.. and I'm sure I will never experience another day as bad.
Now that friend and I aren't close.. for some reason he hates me, I suspect he blamed ME for his stupidity. All I know is that I will never be so foolish again, drugs are very powerful.. treat them with care.

Throwing up and beign convinced that you threw up part of your stomach but you can't find a phne so you resolve that you will die Any way.
Also had a friend wander the steerts in a very bad part of town tripping who thought someguy was someone else and started a fight. nto relising the otehr person had a gun and was ready to use it.
good thing not everyone was messed up.

Guys,
I can't believe some of the things I read here. Yes, I'm being judgemental. Taking 5 hits of LSD, eating 6-10 grams of shrooms! No wonder neither one of you enjoyed it. This is not like drinking a case of beer or smoking an ounce of pot. These chemicals are the strongest on the planet. Showing a bit of conservatism by upping your doses to an acceptable "strong" trip instead of going apeshit by taking "way too much", would give you a much better experience.
But youth being what it is,it's no wonder. I did some pretty foolish things when I was younger, and regretted them too.
And always, I mean always, give yourself a full days time for your trip. Could be a 4-6 hour, or may turn into an 8-12 with a few more adjustment hours. Definitely a friday or so with no work in site for 24-48 hours to recoup.
There, I'm done preaching. I'll admit to my one stupid trip where I was alone all day, peaking with extreme paranoia about every noise I heard for at least an hour.
Lawn maintainence people attacking my house with weedeaters and lawn mowers! AAAHHH! Had I known they were coming, I'd never had tripped that day.

I agree with your words of proceeding cautiously...but just realize (and I know it's not the case in the above instances) some people simply need higher doses to achieve the same levels of experience that other trippers only need a little bit to experience. Personally when I would trip on LSD I would never trip if I just ate 1-3 hits of blotter (or just one drop of liquid). I always needed 4-5 blotter/2-3 drops of liquid to have a trip. I don't know why...just how my body is. Even with weed I find I always need a few extra hits to take off when everyone else passing the bowl only took one or two hits to get to Jupiter. But this doesn't mean I just scarf down tons of stuff when I decide to trip.
I'm tripping this weekend on my Mazatapecs and in the past I've tried cubes 3 different times (the first two times I split an 8th with a buddy and the 3rd/final time I ate a whole 8th) and I never tripped. Either I got old/bunk shrooms all 3 times (which I don't think happened on the first time...cause the dude I tripped with that night said they were good to him) or I have a naturally high tripping threshold. I'm planning on 4 grams of my shroom powder for my first trip. I'll only take up to a total of 5 grams though total for the experience...if I'm still not feeling anything by an hour after eating the 4 grams I'll take 1 more...if I still don't trip...I'll give up on shrooms. I have a friend in Iowa in a similar situation...he always has to eat like 7 grams dried or more to trip on dried cubes...but when they're fresh he trips balls off smaller doses. It would indeed suck if I could only trip off fresh mushies like my buddy...but I'll take whatever comes my way. 
Sorry for the ramble...I just woke up and sometimes forget that this should have been a small reply. LOL The curse of typing at 96wpm.

The worst thing thats ever happened while tripping is when i was on 3 hits of blotter acid, i ventured out into my friends backyard woods and got lost for 2 hours. The whole time i was saying "What is this!!!" "What the fuck is that!!!!". And i also stepped on a beeshive that was under the ground and got stung like 8 times while tripping. The worst pain is when i finally went inside to see that my arm had stings all over it and thats when i went insane and jumped in the shower with all my clothes on.

Try eating 4 teddy grahams with two drops of liquid on each and then having some mean looking fucker with a gun come over and start shit with your friend saying he is going to kill him because he thinks your friend is some other person, and then when they get it all cleared up that your friend isnt the person hes looking for and the guy leaves. Having people tell you that you were the guy he was looking for and as soon as he finds that out hes gonna be back.
