Im curriouse, bad trips realy fascinate me. I have had disturbing trips before when my mind slapped me around a bit and pried my eyes open to some of the bullshit in my life. Ive never been at all frightended though so it intregues me. So whats the worst thought/feeling/sight you have endured on mushrooms or acid?

i had this really weird one....
i didn't start to see some killer zombies or anything.
but it was like i was stuck in an unlimited black void and nothing else was there.... it was a feeling of complete lonliness and i thought i could see moving patterns and shapes in the dark
and it sucked ass cause for like 4 hrs i saw nothing heard nothing felt nothin and couldn't fall asleep to stop it.

I've only tripped twice and both times I had to deal with a pissed off as fuck girlfriend. She's been the cause of the bad experiences both trips but i wouldn't call what i had bad trips. They were pretty enjoyable once I figured out how to let my mind flow and stop worrying about the things she was putting me through.
I pondered a lot about life, the recent loss of my father, why my girlfriend was the way she was, and found out things about myself that I never knew. Coming down off both of those trips (especially the first one) was the best feeling of confidence I ever had.

Although Ive never had a "bad trip" the first time I was amazed at the thought of having sex and kissing and just being that close to someone. I didnt know if it was realy something people did or if I was making it up. I was hoping for the latter because it scared the shit out of me.

the worst/best, scariest/most enlightening trip i have ever been on was when i felt like i was viewing the life cycle of our universe, while being separated from it. once i was to that point it was incredible, a life changing experience to be sure. it was the foundation of my own personal spirituality and belief structure.
gettig there, though, was pure hell. being torn out of ones safe and comfortable shell, experiencing death, then ego death, a complete and utter loss of a sense of self, etc., etc.
it was the most frightening thing i have ever endured.
it was the most beautiful thing i have ever had the privilege of glimpsing, even for a moment.
i would write more about it if i felt i could do justice to the entire experience. the feelings were fleeting and elusive, the memories mercurial and hard to grasp.
i'm sure some of you know what i meen.

one time i was shroomin at my freinds house and there was shag carpet on the floor and it turned into a bunch of maggots and i heard voices saying that the maggots were waiting he lived with his grandma his grandma died a month oor two later and my friend shot him self half of a year later that was a heavy trip.

jeezus, that sounds a bit rough salviapsilo....good on you for getting thru that one 
....but the maggots thing reminded me of my first time shrooming in this great big old share house I lived in about 12 years ago...I was upstairs on a balcony and looking down all the trees in the backyard which had multi-coloured maggots writhing all over them instead of leaves....which was not at all freaky but just kind of beautiful and intriguing....you know how you are looking at something that you are fully aware cannot possibly exist but you are so intrigued that it is doing it nonetheless

I have expierenced the worst fear imaginable on the mushrooms. It all started with a walk. Like 5 bad things happened in a row. Cars looking at us. A cop pulled another car over. People standing on a porch looking at us. I freaked, thought the cops where coming after me.
I made it home but i couldnt get bad thoughts out of my head the rest of the night. I was tripping soo hard. my friend was so fucked up he couldnt talk. He just kept saying your ok zach just musrhooms. I thougt he was gonna call 911 i was gonna get busted and the police where on the way to my place right then and there. IT was shitty.
I dosed 3.5 grams of lipa yai. Most where aborts. I a lot harder that time then i did on 5gs of EQ mature fruits.

My last trip a gram of potent copelandia cyanescens kicked the shit out of me quite litterally.
The comeup was intense and quick (due to fast) and after one hour I was receiving these electric shock like spasms that started in my gut and emanated throughout my whole person... it hurt like nothing I've experienced in the past. I didn't fight it though, thinking there was some lesson to be learned or some karma to be repayed I welcomed it (plus I figured there was no way of stoping it and if I tried it would only get worse).
I had the 2 Shpongle cd's and an ozric tentacles album (erpsongs) on my computer playing, it was the first time hearing shpongle and every tune that played sounded sooo good but enjoying the music made the spasms worse, my muscles would seize and my back would arch one way then the other on it's own accord!! These shrooms were smashing my body to peices from the inside!
Sometime during the peak I remember thinking about a friends dog and how it doesn't get the love it deserves, this vision turned into a premonition that I would become a dog in my next life and be treated the same or worse but that I would have to endure it as it was the path to my salvation...Can you imagine wanting to die because you feel things can't get any worse but knowing that when you do the next life offers an exsistence even worse!! It was on this realisation that the thought loops came and lasted longer than I would have liked
At one point the track Shpongleyes was playing and when I heard the sampled dialogue "This is errrrr.. no offence but, you are a robot aren't you?"
You can't imagine how funny this was to me, I burst into a fit of laughter squeezing my eyes tight and holding my already softened gut and as I laughed I exploded and loads of little me's were catapulted from the point of explosion laughing manically and inharmoniously at higher pitches than my own. I was completely geschtonkenflapped!
To cut a long story short the madness continued with spurts of extreme paranoia (that I can't seem to shake from my trips at the momment) untill I fell asleep. The past three or four trips have been really hard going but at the same time enjoyable and in some cases necessary. This is another one of those to add to the collection

The worst thing ive seen on a trip would have to be when i was peaked on 1/8th of dried shrooms. And my friend who had eaten 1/4 dried shrooms started bugging out and breaking shit in his own house. I just left and went home chilled and listened to some tunes.

Hmmm, thanks for posting people. I have yet to experience any fear of normaly frightening things. The first time I triped I thought I had eaten glass along with the mushies, I didnt care that much though. Another time I was smoking a j in a park downtown and a cop was walking with his light on and came about 5 steps from me (although around a corner) again I was not at all scared. My house has a lot of spiders for some reason and while high my whole floor was crawling with them like kicking up an anthill, not scarry. I have had some strong negative emotions but never fear, I almost feel as though Im missing something.

I have had one bad trip out of the 3 times I have shroomed.
It started out great, but then I got the stupid idea that I wanted to go to bed (It was 3:00am) and I was at my peak, and when I went into my room, I felt closed in, and then my bad trip started when I looked in the mirror (stupid me. I wasn't told until AFTER that you're not supposed to look in the mirror) and then all of a sudden, the wood cabanets started doing crazy shit. The wood grind or whatever started opening up and it was like a portal to hell, and I got scared, and got out of my room, and went to lay on the couch and then the I felt like the tv was against me and wouldn't let me see properly to change the channel, and then the MIB 2 commercial where the "worm" bites the subway car freaked the shit out of me because I thought it was going to eat me, and then I coughed up some phlegm (by accident lol) and I felt like I was coughing up my insides, and then my glasses started melting into my face, and I took them off right away and so I curled up in a ball and closed my eyes, and that helped a bit and enjoyed the differently couloured geometric colours floating around. Very pretty, but then after that, I got scared about the idea about my room mate coming out and finding me watching tv at 4am and shrooming, and thought he was going to get mad at me....(he didn't thank god, or I would have gone nuts. I told him about my experience the next day, and he told me that he would not have freaked at me and he's gone though a shroom "phase" and has had bad trips) and then after that, the cat came and sat next to me and started licking my hand furiously and then I freaked out again because I thought she was going to eat me.
This is the first time I have described this bad trip in full detail. Freaky shit.

i look in the mirror all the time while tripping. it's cool how different your face looks. i also discovered that i could control the size of my pupils while looking at them. i don't know why but some people bug out when they look into mirrors.

well my first time, I looked in the mirror and I got the fun house effect. It was cool, so I didn't know that the second time would put me into a bad trip. But also I wasn't too happy with myself that day, so that's probably why I had a bad trip looking in the mirror coz my 3rd time, I looked in the mirror briefly, and nothing horrible happened.

The worst thing i ever felt was one time i had some unhealthy mushheads and they were closer to black than to golden colored---anyhow i felt like if i puked then my whole entire throat would have come out. Not only that---i felt like my brain was turning to mush due to eating ultra-poisonous shrooms------then the worst part was that i began to taste blood in my mouth----not only blood, i started tasting every single fluid in my body, from gastric acids to the center of my bones to my intestines-----it was grueling but i just kept pretty still until it all passed-----that was the worst.

I took about half an 1/8th and was walking around. My friend met up with me and he was trying to trip me out and was running around kinda like a hunchback. Well in this I kinda saw a demon. His face looked like the mask of the drummer of Splitknot. It was fun.

i felt absolutely nothing... no good, no bad, just unnerving nothingness. it was really fucking scary. i felt like i had to do something to make sure i was still alive and capable of thought. so, i put a cigarette out on my arm... and, didnt feel a thing. i had tripped two days earlier, so i think that mustve done it. but now, ive got a funky scar on my arm

My worst trip was actually my best friend's!
We had gone down to this place called Kodaikanal in India to trip on shrooms for the first time.. and that trip sure turned very very shamanic!!
We were on 36 cubensis each( no idea how many gms that was..and we had no idea about the dosage!) that night.. and my best friend suddenly went on this horrible trip that i was his worst enemy in the world... and he had finally gone MAD..and i was completely responsible for it!!!
Whew..we saw all sorts of evil demons, spirits all over our room!! The walls were changing into all kindsa nasty things..and this was sure one rough night!!
But there's no way in this world I can explain how much we learned from the experience that night..and what an amazing feeling it was when we came back from whereever we went that night!! Now we're the best of friends!
