Don't let a bad trip derail you... the first time I had a bad trip, i thought the exact same thing as you so dont worry. Just give it a little bit of time and when you're ready, come back to it. Tripping is what you make of it. I have tripped at least 100 times, and only 1 has been bad.

I have sort of had the same thing happen to me....I had a particularly intense and difficult DPT trip. since that trip I have been pretty anxious about tripping and always err on the very low dose side... which is pretty discouraging because I used to love to trip and trip hard...

I don't get it....I still like the idea around tripping hard but when I begin to approach it something kicks in panic in my brain. it sucks.

Bad trips can be good trips if you know what I mean, self development and all that....
Just be sensible in the future, make sure your physically and mentally fit and with good friends.

I have had bad trips on acid and shrooms, ans I couldn't tell you waht I did different to the good ones, However, I continue to have high dose trips and enjoy them thouroghly. The only thing to fear is fear itself!

That's what Hunter S. Thomas meant by "The fear"... In a number of places in the book he talks about letting "the fear" take over and what-not. If someone lives in the fear of a bad trip, they won't have a good one. Bad trips only happen if you let them, just remember all the good times you've had on shrooms, and think of what would have happened different during the time it turned bad. Shrooms don't cause bad trips, other things turn the trips bad.
