Interesting link. Not a very good circle though. Doesn't even look like it has smooth curves but that might just be the picture. Don't geigercounters (sp) go apeshit in cropcircles too? And what about circles in fields of mustard? The stalks are bent at 90 degrees and because the plant is so brittle it's supposed to break before it gets to that point. But I'm tired of chasing around all those little facts and I just wanna see a half-made kickass circle.

Actually, people HAVE been caught making crop circles. It was part of the Discovery Channel special when infrared cameras were set up to film crop fields close to where other crop circles had recently appeared.
And the funny part of the special was when the Discovery Channel got a team of people to create some crop circles just to see how the public would react. A university professor observed the circles and absolutely insisted that there was "no way" people could have made the patterns that he had observed in the crop fields and that the stalks had been broken in a way that couldn't have been reproduced by pranksters. Well, the "pranksters" showed him how they did it, and that doctor sure looked dumb.

I'd like to see the show, and see just how huge the crop circles they were making were.

Exactly, just because someone is a university professor doesn't mean they aren't a complete fucking moron.

I remember seeing on some pro-crop circle site, they had "here's what a NASA astrophysicist has to say about crop circles" and he was saying that he didn't think people would be able to pull it off. Well, what the hell does he know about manipualting crops? His job is make calculations related to space and the universe, he has absolutely no expertise in agriculture, or biogolgy, or engineering.

Yes, another way of saying this is that an expert outside his field is no better than amateur. This is why I don't buy products from sports figures unless they are related to the product.
