It's just amazing what kids do with boards and rope these days. When I was a kid we just made swings and shit...

Amazing!
Check out this one my dog and his rabbit friend make at 4am in my backyard last night... Apparently all they used was a stick, a piece of rope, and the will to succeed.

do all these happen at night?
why are there no satellite photos of this stuff happening?
why are there no cameras pointed at the fields 24/7 to figure out what the fuck is making them?

As Deadhead already explained to us in the Crop Circles thread... ALL crop circles ever made were made by high school kids with board of wood.

Ok I'm done being sarcastic
Most of them appear at night, yes.
Why there are no satellite photos...I have no idea.
There are no cameras pointed at the fields 24/7 because there are a lot of fields in the world and the Government already knows where they come from so they are not concerned with spending precious resources trying to moniter them.
There is a shitty video clip some kid took of a crop circles being formed. It was analyzed by experts and concluded that it could not have been faked. Look in the Crop Circles thread, I just bumped it.. it's somewhere in there.

I wasn't going to say anything, as this thread is supposed to be just for fun, but...
Good points indeed, I'm sure we've all had such thoughts before. I really don't believe much one way or the other, I'd like to believe that Aliens did them, but I'm usually dissapointed by that which I believe.
How many farmers do you know have cameras on their crops 24/7?
As for "logical explanations", you can reverse engineer just about anything. (That is, decipher/modify something once you already have it.)
I don't present these thoughts as proof, or even because I'm a believer (which I'm not). I just think the arguments and thoughts of non-believers are pretty ridiculous for the most part.

Well I wasn't going to say anything either, but since you already ruined it for everyone (heh) here goes
Point 1. Most crop circles are made at night, some have appeared in under 10 minutes time. Most are a few hundred feet in diameter.
Point 2. When the CBS asked a team of people to reproduce a crop circle, it took a team of 4 men 3 hours to make a 150 foot wide circle within a circle. This was with massive lights all around the field.
Point 3. "Authentic" Crop Circles have very distinguishable trademarks.
A) The grain is not broken, it is bent at a 90 degree angle without damaging the plant, and upon microscopic examination the grain's actual chemical structure has been altered. (The grain continues to grow after being bent)
B) The circles are laid down in a spiral pattern usually, sometimes with multiple layers of spirals going in opposite directions layered on top of each other.
C) There are no footprints or imperfections in the ground or grain whatsoever.
D) Crop Circles commonly appear in restricted areas.
E) Probably a million other things I don't want to get into
It should be noted that to make a crop circle at night requires a lot of work. Especially in England where a lot of crop circles appear, the ground is usually muddy at night. Footprints would be the first thing to show up. However, there are none a lot of the time, even when the ground is still muddy in the morning.
The guys that made the crop circles for the TV crew didn't even make a good one after 4 hours of solid work. They had a hole in the center of the circle where they staked a pole, the grain was broken, not bent. There were footprints EVERYWHERE. Not to mention that they had bright lights surrounding the place. When they were done they had made a bunch of basic circles that didnt look very good, under full lighting after three hours of work with a team of people working together.
Lallalfa if you are really interested look in the Crop Circles thread.. there are a lot of links in there. A lot of research has been done on Crop Circles and there are people who dedicate themselves to researching them.

I was going to say the same thing... without the (heh) of course. Blasted shroomism! You'll pay!
Very interesting though. I don't suppose you saw my question about botched circles in the other thread? You may be responding right now... It has been addressed fairly well here though.

Blasted Luigi, I'll never live you down! I was actually going to ressurect that toking fool but ruled against it. He made me feel so... juvenile.
Your avatars are always beautiful and profound. No pressure... hehe
Now, back on topic we go.
Here's Art Bells site, I think some of these circles have been posted. There's also a link to the Crop Circle Connector which looks pretty cool. I'll have to do some looking around there.
