Shrooms and Children
    #10418281 -

So, I am at a friends and we are tripping on shrooms. Her 4 year old daughter wakes up and comes out into the living room. Stands there looking at us as we sat on the couch smiling then disappears back into her room. A few min later she comes out carrying a box of crayons and coloring books. She proceeds to set a coloring book in front of each of us and say, "You are going to color this one and you are going to color this one." Then she gets her coloring book and sits at the coffee table.

So through the peak of the trip, We all set there coloring in the coloring books and talking to her about all the beautiful colors.

So the next day this friend calls me to tell me that all her daughter will talk about is how she wants to stay up at night because her mommy and her mommy's friends are fun to color with at night.

See, shrooms and kids do mix.

Fuck yeah they do. IMO, shrooms take you back to when you were a kid. Everything is new and exciting.

kids don't have all the crap that life puts on us, making our perceptions duller.

She probably picked up on what you wanted, nice!

I prefer playing with clay or lego tbh, I suck at drawing and when tripping my hands get shaky.

I have spent many friday evenings building lego kits with my 5 year old while on dxm... Lovely lovely memories.

And a hug from a child while on shrooms will bring tears to my eyes.

That's why coloring books are great! no need to draw, just put colors in between the lines already drawn.

That's awesome.

I was tripping on LSD and went back to my old elementary school to go on the swingset. Ran into a kid that was like 6-7 years old and we played tag, swung on swings, raced, climbed the jungle gym. He looked like I did when I was that age and had my same first and middle name. Was weird.

His 350 lb mother was happy she could sit in the car eating McD's while reading the newspaper. Free babysitting...

Had a blast though, that kid definitely made my trip.

I'll assume you're not all a nice bunch and of people and not a load of heroin addicts for a moment but that actually sounds adorable!

I've seen two kids on mushrooms.

The one was in pure joy.  Pupils the size of quarters full of energy ( even more so ) and running around messing with EVERYTHING ( this kid was 7 ).  He did fall on the ground and wriggle around a lot ( seemed like he was just pretending or being a kid ) but he was always smiling.

The other kid was fine at first ( 9 years old ) until he started losing bowel and bladder control.  I mean this kid literally started crying and screaming and then pissed his pants faster then I've ever seen anyone piss.  He went from dry to soaking in like half a second.  So then as soon as his mom goes to change his pants, the kid continues to scream and cry, and shits everywhere with his pants off.  His mom ended up having to give him a bath pinning him down while he screamed the whole time.  It took like 2 shots of nyquil and 4 benadryls to get the little runt to pass out after it was all said and done.  I bet he learned from it quite a bit though.

Yea, I'm sure he did learn a lot. That's just sad and cruel...

Why fuck with children like that?

Who are you to set the bar on what age someone can experiment with their mind.  I thought this site was all about open mindedness and acceptence.

Other then the two on mushrooms, I've seen three kids under 12 smoke marijuana, and Friends have dosed a ten year old a couple times.

Kids these days.

Eh, it's better then letting kids drink alcohol or smoke cigs  who am I to judge.

The problem is at age seven you're not old enough to experiment on YOUR mind consciously in that way; if you are given shrooms at that age your mind is being experimented ON.

Anyway, children don't need psychedelics.  For that matter, neither do adults.  We are the psychedelic. :mushroom2:

Thanks for sharing that story OP
