So the next day this friend calls me to tell me that all her daughter will talk about is how she wants to stay up at night because her mommy and her mommy's friends are fun to color with at night.

The problem is at age seven you're not old enough to experiment on YOUR mind consciously in that way; if you are given shrooms at that age your mind is being experimented ON.

Anyway, children don't need psychedelics.  For that matter, neither do adults.  We are the psychedelic.
