Planning a trip to cali...advice appreciated!

Hey shroomery whats goin on.

  I am a college student who lives in upstate NY.  Right after school lets out, me and a few of my friends (2 or 3 others) plan on driving out to cali. The plan is to drive out there taking about a week or so, and stopping at national parks on the way such as arches and yosimite. We don't have that much money, probably around 500$ a person, so we plan on bringing a tent and making the best of it on the way (sleeping in the car/ finding a random place to pitch the tent). There will be random days we choose to not drive and just trip once we reach the midwest.  As you can probably tell, we dont really have a true plan lol

Any words of wisdom?

of corse there are going to be substances involved in the trip, but we plan on behaving, so it SHOULDNT be a problem but you never know.

Were going to need a healthy supply of Bud, mushies, alcohol and cigs. But once we run out of bud and were stuck in the midwest/cali, will it be hard to find more? i can't imagine it to be that hard to find bud..especially out there where bud is supposedly way better and cheaper. (not that there isnt super dank here, its just expensive).

once we reach the beach in cali, we plan on renting a hotel for about a week and then calling it a day and headin home.

any advice as to where our final destination in cali should be? i was thinking san diego but probably not anymore. thanks!

i think youre going to need more than 500 bucks, esp. if you plan on renting a hotel near a beach in cali for a week.

my suggestion? Fine shroomers who will let you crash at their place along the way. im from NY otherwise id say you can stay w/ me for a night.

gas is going to be expensive to get across country. and dont forget about the return trip. the amount youll spend just to get there is the amount youll need to get back, give or take.

lol yeah it is about 400$ gas each way. any shroomers who would want us to crash at their house would deff have a good time that night haha, free blunts, boomers n' beers!

I just drove with some buddies from the midwest to California.  We stayed at a buddies place for free for a week, but we did buy almost about an ounce of pot a piece as well...

I spent around $800 on the trip for food, gas, weed, hotels on the way...you'll definitely need more than $500 to pull this off dude.

My  big tip is set the cruise control at 5 over.  Speeding on that long of a trip doesn't really mean dick, and if you're traveling over state lines with drugs you wanna really not get any attention.

Hit a grocery store before you go and pack a cooler.  It's expensive to buy all your drinks and food on the road, plus gas station/fast food crap gets old real fast.

Keep most of your drugs in the trunk, locked if possible.  If you plan on smoking while you drive keep a small bag of pot in the cab with a pipe or some papers or w/e you prefer.  Make sure it's easily stashable.  Set up a predetermined stash spot and make sure everybody knows it.

Have a procedure thought out ahead of time in case you do get pulled over.  Carry Febreeze with you, and have whoever is sitting in the back be in charge of discretely spraying the shit out of the car if you see the cherries behind you.  Wear seatbelts, have your license, insurance, and registration all handy.

I also live in NY, i just flew out to LA and im at montebello.  If your driving your gonna need a lot more than 500, one very kind shroomer with a medical bud card might be hookin me up, but if anyone else wants to light up drop me a PM, im here for a week and havnt got a chance to get this cali bud yet!

My advice for visiting california is to stay north. I would recommend going up highway 101 and highway 1 going up to the Lost Coast and Arcata if you like the outdoors, redwoods, the pacific coast, seals, redwoods and damn fine weed. And as mentioned above 500 bucks isn't enough unless you drive a toyota tercell and camp everywhere you go and eat really cheap.

Be careful with that advice, many undercovers around that area, you can easily score weed in Golden Gate Park but I wouldn't try to buy anything else around there, many undercover feds with supposed LSD so says a man I know who grew up on Haight Street and visits quite frequently.

my only advice is: don't call it "cali". it's called "california". only rappers can call it "cali". you're gonna use "california", and you're gonna like it.
