Mass Shroomery trip #1 28th Feb * 1

Just a reminder for all you who want to attend, the first of our monthly internet trip meetings is happening this Friday night. We will all meet at mIRC #shroomery. Or if some of you wish just meet here. Here's the times. Make a post below if you plan to partake in this global ESP experiment!

LA 28th Feb 4.00 pm
Chicago 28th Feb 6pm
NYC 28th Feb 7pm
UK 1st March 12.00 am
CET 1st March 1.00 am
Sydney 1st March 11 am

I know it's a bit early for you west costers, maybe we could change the time next month and alternate the times each month.

I will for sure be there :smile: I do feel obligated to bitch about the time though, I live on the east coast and even 7 is too damn early to start for me, i feel real sorry for  those on the west :smile:

theres actually acid in town for once here, so i might be in.  its 10 bucks a hit, and it takes like 2 hits to get a real start to a trip.but its supposed to get better in quality, the first hits were from the first batch...maybe ill be able to join you guys :laugh:.

OK, which mIRC server? Is the shroomery server back up? I can't see now as I'm in work and mIRC is blocked!

Also if we're gonna start a thread for the trip we'd better check with the mods that we can post it here, as I'm pretty sure there'll be a lot of craziness going on :wink: I don't think it'd be a good idea to do it in OTD - could end up being spoilt!

How about a Mod volunteering to oversee the event? It'd be best if as much dialogue was left unaltered as possible though.

Just some more thoughts. :laugh:

Yeah, I know the time isn't perfect for everyone, but it's damn hard getting a time that suits everyone around the globe! Like I said, we could change the times each month.

We are using www.crackrock.net #shroomery.

If you don't know how to get there, do the following:

- If you haven't got mIRC, download it (do a search, you will find it easily).

- Open up mIRC and on the connect screen click add, then in the IRC server space, type in "www.crackrock.net", and type in a description.

- Make sure the port is 6667.

- Click Add.

- Click OK.

-Then in the mIRC channels folder, type "#shroomery" and click "Join"

I'm all for flipping the times next month so I can daytrip.

We should post to the BB as well as chat so that we have something to look back on later, but that's a lot to remember when tripping, so we'll see how that goes.

Yep, being in Sydney, 11am won't really be an appropriate time for me....
But if we could organise times differently next month I would LOVE to join in!
This is something I've always thought would be a great idea.. makes us trippers feel a little less alienated.

All I can say is WOOOOOO! Next time, I'm def. taking more, though. I had fun even though I didn't talk a lot. Still coming the rest of the way down, glowing, etc. Want to do this again in a month if all goes right.

Good to hear it was a good time. I hope this idea keeps going. I think in time it might catch on a bit more. Plus if time changes are flipped each month for the Americas vs the europe/asia it'll give everyone a chance to partake...also allowing for more people to join in cuz I'd like to partake, but wouldn't be partakin every month anyhow so it the time schedule fit my schedule only every other month I'd be fine w/ that.

Of course one could decide to trip every other month regardless of the schedule, but i'm guessin there's probably a few out there who would prefer to choose this cuz then it gives them the flexibility to choose to shroom in other settings and at different times around the 1 month mark while still partaking during the second month mark. Since we're all shroomers I'm guessin this is the case...so hope flippin the time zones around to benefit everyone everyother month really does seem like a good idea.

That was an interesting evening, quite funny talking online, although I got a bit bored towards the end of the trip. Well worth it, but not sure if I would do it too often. Plus I found it really hard to type!

Only 3 of us! Not really a Mass shroomery trip, more like a small trip gathering!

Me, JP and Pattern were tripping and Tripmeister was our trip sitter.
