i would wait on that questionable jar an extra day so you dont go through the bother of shaking it to only have to clean it up as soon as it recovers

well i shook them all, they are like 85% colonized now, that greenish one still has some definite green in it, but its very very light green.I think it might be from the sunflower seed like you said, cause the whole jar looks white and rhizo like all the others?

My second batch isnt working though, they might be too dry i think? I have growth on the very very bottom of all the jars, but stalled and isnt doing anything now.Should i try to inject with water or cut my losses and start them fresh now instead of wasting time?

i knew id want more birdseed once i noticed the price change on the sign outside that store on the way to work. it said 5.99 for a 20lb bag, now its 7.99 since i want to get more. figures.

Look forward to my grow log, i have 13 qts and like 50 half pints that are all around 95% colonized. Wish me luck, this will definitely be my biggest.Im thinkin ill make two 66qt monotubs with 6 1/2 qts wbs in each.That should do the trick... ill make smaller trays out of the half pints and put them in a FC.
