hydroponics queshtion Shyarrt
    #9997146 - 03/18/09 07:22 PM (15 years, 4 days ago)

im kinda new to the whole hydroponics idea so i have a few questions
- Where do you put the Ph solution? in the actual water or in the pots?
- can a bunch of different plants with different PH and nutrient preferences be grown in the same hydro setup?
-what is the cheapest and most effective hydro setup
-can peyote, poppies , kanna or blue lotus be grown in a hydroponics system?

thanks for allll your support :stoned:

A cactus or succulent would not do well in a hydroponic setting.

- pH solution goes into the water, not the ports
- They can be grown in the same setup as long as they are tolerant to the pH/Salt levels, etc. They have to have pretty similar needs.
- Dunno about setups, not really a hydro person
- Peyote: No. Though some cacti can. I've been able to grow Opuntia spp. hydroponically. Poppies: Yes. Some of the other forum members have done it. The rest: No idea.

Opuntias manage to survive in Ontario in Canada, it's amazing.

1. In the reservoir/fill tank for Ebb & Flow.
2. Not the best idea considering they will all be feed exactly the same way.
3. Ebb & Flow is best IMO. You can find 12 bucket complete systems for $450-$500.
4. No.
