Premature pubic hair graying

I get up to take a piss and see that most of my pubic hair it turning gray. I'm only 28.Could it be form swimming / setting in the hot tub to much ?

I don't think swimming or hot tubs would cause hair to go grey. More likely genetic, stress, or maybe lightening (not a pun). I read somewhere about smoking increasing grey hair. I also read something about grey hair being correlated with folate deficiency.

Do you have many grey's on your head?

if he's fair haired pool chlorine could definately change the colour of his hairs man

my hair used to go a greenish tint when i was a kid

he'd probably know if its genetic from his parents

Have you heard of recessive genes? If there is a recessive gene causing premature greying, then it could skip generations. Besides, premature greying pubes isn't usually a big topic of discussion that passes down multiple generations. :lol:

As for the your hair going green, it wasn't from the chlorine, it was due to copper being in the water which absorbed into your hair. This is a common thing in badly maintained pools with copper pipes. Stripping hair of it's colour is a different thing entirely to turning it green.

If in the off chance the greying was caused by an external chemical reaction, it wouldn't turn most of his hair grey, it would probably turn all of it grey and probably the hair on his head too if it was getting wet. Maybe I could believe it turning blonde from swimming in a pool if there was a tonne of cleaning products spilled in the water, i.e. bleach or peroxide etc. But if that was going to affect changing hair colour, it wouldn't be discriminant about which hairs it changed and it wouldn't turn the hair grey, it would turn it blonde or maybe red if he has dark hair.

I've given this question way too much thought  :foreheadslap: :lol:

well my hair was white blonde to begin with,even my eyebrows and tips of my eyelashes were blonde eons ago:lol:

That feeling sucks.  I'm only 19 and i saw a gray hair on my stomach.  I freaked and ripped it out.  I haven't seen anymore but seeing gray with me being so young made me borderline angry.

I have been going gray since 17 or 18, and now that I am 24 it is really getting crazy. I have hundreds of gray hairs, and look to be totally gray by 35, oh well, george clooney here I come!
