acne meds: lack of facial hair?

so i think i figured something out today: i can grow facial hair just fine on my chin and 'stache area, which are the only areas of my face that i dont use acne meds. im 20 and for some reason i still cannot grow hair on the sides of my face.

however, i stopped using my acne meds for a week or so a couple weeks ago, and i noticed little areas of hair starting to show up. now im using the meds again and it almost seems like there even less hair on the sides of my face. anyways i was just wondering if anyone has had the same problem.

I can comfort you!

I am 22 and cannot grow facial hair. A mustache would not even come in full, and its impossible to grow a beard. I use an electric shaver on my chin and upper lip every 2-3 days. Don't worry though, when we are 45 and still look 25 it will pay off.
